After the incident at the convenience store, you and Jungwoo seemed to become a lot more closer in a way. Seeing each other in the hallways were still a bit awkward for you, but your tired to make an effort so that he wouldn't see you shy or awkward.

It was raining again, hard. It was pelting of your windows as you sat in your apartment watching tv. Usually rain relaxes you, but this was different. It was more harsher than you expected.

You lifted the remote and turned the channel over to the news. You wondered if there was a storm coming. As the weather just came onto the news channel, the tv began to flicker and glitch. Oh no, you thought. The power is going to go out

Just as your thought, the lights flickered too, finally switching off. You sat there in complete darkness. Everything was silent for just a few seconds until finally, a huge thunder clap sounded through your apartment, causing you to jump with a slight squeak escaping from your lips.

You grabbed through the dark trying to find your phone. After finding it, you switched on your flashlight, trying to find your way to the kitchen.

Looking through your drawers, you try to look for a couple of candles to put up because who knew when the lights would come back on. To your disappointment, you couldn't find any. You sighed. Guess it will just be me and you darkness, you thought.

Just as you made your way over to your couch, a loud banging is heard coming from your front door. You stand up and freeze in fear. You hen hear your name being called, realising that it's Jungwoo.

Your heart race became more slower as your walked to the door to open it and see a concerned Jungwoo.

'Y/n, are you okay?' He looks you in the eyes. Just as your about to reply your fine, another clap of thunder jolts you in your spot, making you cry out.

You close your eyes tightly, waiting for it to be over, only to hear Jungwoo's soothing voice call you as he grabs your hand and leads you into his apartment.

Once in his apartment, you notice that it's a lot more lit than yours, considering he had candles and you didn't. His apartment looks completely different from yours, the layout is different, and a lot more minimalistic. Jungwoo brings you over to the couch and sets your down.

He looks at you for a second and then begins to speak.

'Would you like something to drink? Coffee? Hot chocolate?'

You looked up at him and spoke 'Um, hot chocolate would be nice, thanks' you look down shyly but he just laughs.

Sitting on his sofa, you come to your senses when you realise that your actually in Kim Jungwoo's apartment. The Kim Jungwoo. A smile crept up onto your lips as you looked around his home.

It seemed a lot more homier and cosy compared to your dull apartment. You look around to see photo framed of him and his friends. You get up to look around.

Walking up to the pictures you take a closer look at them. Gazing over them, you come across one of them. In the last picture you see a younger looking Jungwoo with a very familiar face. Then it hit you.

Just as you realised who it was, Jungwoo came up behind you.

'Like what you see?' You ignore his question to ask him a follow up one. 'You know Yukhei?'.

He looks at you stunned for a second, but then reply's 'yeah, we've been friends for more than ten years, why? Do you know him?'.

You laugh lightly. 'Yeah um, we ah- we used to date, like a while back'. You felt so embarrassed telling him that but you didn't know they were friends.

Jungwoo looked took back by your words but quickly regained his composure quickly. 'Ah? Really, I haven't seen him in a few months, I guess it was during them, since I never knew' he said with a soft chuckle.

'Yeah..' you said quietly. You both stand in silence until Jungwoo jumps in his spot suddenly remembering that he had your hot chocolate.

After that you both sit down on his sofa, watching tv. The rain was still heavy outside making the whole apartment appear to have a more atmospheric vibe.

You wanted to speak up since you felt like you were intruding so you finally said quietly, 'I'll only stay until the power comes back on, since I don't want to overstay.' Your voice trails off towards the end of your sentence as you look down at your mug.

Jungwoo just gives you an affirmative hum, acknowledging your sentence without looking away from the tv.

About half an hour later, mugs of hot chocolate finished, your eyes start to feel heavy, head leaning to the side, finally drifting off to sleep.

Little did you know, you feel asleep on Jungwoo's shoulder. Feeling the heaviness, he turns his head round quickly to be confronted by your face, extremely close to his.

He could feel your breath on his face, staring at your facial features. He makes his way down to your lips, stare lingering on them longer than he should have.

He leans in. Slowly.

Closer.

Closer.

Suddenly the lights flicker back on, bringing life back into the apartment. He sighs quietly to himself.

So much for leaving when the power comes back on.
