What hit you first was the warm, calming smell of the roasted coffee beans as you walked through the door of the cafe, making the bell at the top of the door chime. You've always liked to come here as it made you feel welcomed and helped with assignments for college. Walking up to the counter, you order your usual and sit down in your favorite seat in the corner, near the window.

Setting your bag down on the ground, you take out your laptop and set up your drawing tablet and artwork as you wait for your name to be called by the barista.

You stare outside the window, daydreaming into space. You start to notice a lot more things, like how it stopped raining from the night before, leaving a just the wet floor and some objects around outside. Its still dark though, meaning that it was due to rain sometime later tonight.

Hearing your name be called, you jump slightly and walk up to get your drink. As you make your way up to the counter, you notice the person that's giving you your drink was of course, Kim Jungwoo.

'Have a nice day' he spoke softly as he smiled widely.

You bowed lightly, muttering a quiet thank you as you made your way back to your seat quickly. You sat down heavy as you let out a big puff of air. You never thought you would see him here, out of all places. Did he just start here? You've never seen him here before, in all your years of coming here.

You put your hands up and rested them on your flushed cheeks. God does he make you melt with that smile of his. Seeing him like this, it made you think back to the time when you were both in school.

In school, Jungwoo was overly popular with the girls because he was such a flower boy and also with his soft spoken voice. Both of you didn't know each other, never even spoken to each other before that night he helped you in the rain, but now after that he always smiled and waved at you in the corridor which made you blush and look at the floor nervously.

It seemed that the other girls who liked him didn't like how 'close' you were to him apparently but you didn't even know him properly, all you knew was his name and his apartment number.

They would threaten you and ask you questions about what you were to him, which you replied that you didn't have that sort of relationship with him, you barely even knew him, but of course the girls didn't believe you, and kept pestering you.

After that you started to avoid him if you seen him in the hallway or even avoid his gaze when he tried to acknowledge you. You felt bad since he seemed like such a nice guy but for your sake, you didn't want any trouble.
