Jughead x Cheryl Headcanon:

• Jughead keeps Cheryl’s red spider broach.

• He makes a replica patch for his beanie.

• He so proud of his work, his patches are bland, but this one of course stands out.

• He shows up to Pops to see his friends.

• He asked if they could invite Cheryl and to his surprise she actually showed up.

• The first thing she sees is the new patch.

• Everyone sees it, their mouths dropping.

• "Hey Guys" Jughead speaks without acknowledging their looks.

• "That a new patch Jones" Ronnie breaks the silence.

• "Jug you haven’t added any new patches since forever" Betty adds.

• "Someone gave me one of their most priced possessions, but it was kinda heavy on my beanie so I made a patch" he continues without hesitation stealing a bit of their fries.

• "Looks cool Juggie" Kevin and Archie call out in sync.

• "It really does Jughead, thank you" Cheryl breaks her silence tucking a strand of her red hair behind her ear.

• The group makes excuses and leave Cheryl and Jughead alone in a booth.

• They get to talking as if they’ve been friends forever.

• It’s late, the moon rises and their conversation doesn’t seem to have an end.

• Endless topics and laughter is the all you hear.

• They exited Pops and started walking in the moonlit sidewalk.

• "I really do like the new patch Jug, you didn’t have to"

• "No but I wanted to, it means a lot to you" he took out the broach and placed it in her hand.

• "I gave it to you Jug, it’s yours"

• "I know, but you’ve never gone an outfit without it, just thought you might like it back" they stop in their tracks as he puts it on her blouse.

• "Jug"

• "It’s like me with my beanie, I always wear it, I feel naked without it. The broach means a lot to you, so I’d like to give it back.“

• The blush creeps harder on her checks.

• Jughead cups her cheek.

• "Can I do something?” He sweetly asks as she nods, their hearts beating so quickly as if at any moment they could stop.

• He presses his lips onto her and she kisses back.
