Blossom POV
"What is it about?" Butch asked as Honey jumped from his lap to the ground and walked out of the room.
I looked him straight in his eyes. "Buttercup has only truly loved a few things. Your one of those things. Losing something she held on so dearly hurts her especially since she's watched her parents get murdered. I will only say this once, people don't do things for any reason."
I place the paper on his desk and left the room.
"Get out!" Brick said when I walked through his open door.
I scoffed at him. "I don't want to be here any more than you, so take this paper."
I gave him the paper, placing Boomer's on his desk before leaving and slamming the door close and said something I shouldn't have. "You broke your promise first."
That had trigger Brick to throw multiple items at the door, making a small hole in the door.
Soon it was dinner time, everyone was there and there were some special guests.
"Everyone I would like you to meet, Mark, your event coordinator. So if you want to go somewhere, ask him first. Then we have Zoe, who is in charge of security, making sure none of you get hurt and will tend to any wounds." Mrs. Jojo explains before sitting back down.
Our dad stood up. "I will also like to make sure you all know of the upcoming idol pool party that takes place every year. It's on the 28th"
After all this drama I'd had forgotten all about it. We couldn't make it last year, so this year will be fun.
"Wait isn't that the same day as our birthday?" Bubbles ask. I nodded and changed my mood from heartbroken to cheerful. I didn't truly feel this way but we need a change of pace.
I gave a big smile reminding everyone everything wouldn't be this tense forever. Bubbles smiled at BF who smiled at BC who gave a weak smile. The power and the overwhelming tense of the room was slowly lifting away but it quickly returned due to Brick's sarcastic response of "Oh joy, another thing to do." I'm not gonna lied, that hurt.
Mom who is usually really happy but calm slammed her hands on the table standing up. She had locked Brick in a death stare. "That not the tone of a person who is happy for his friends." Brick was scared but kept a straight face.
Mom then turned to Butch who jumped out his chair, "GET BACK IN YOUR CHAIR AND KOOK AT ALL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY YOU CARE ABOUT YOU. LOOK THEM IN THE EYE." Butch looked at everyone but quickly scanned over BC's. She just sighed and turned to Boomer and Blake.
"FACE YOUR PROBLEMS AND DON'T RUN AWAY, ASK BUBBLES IF THAT EVER WORKED." She practically yelled. This women has had enough of our problems and was exploding with rage. Bubbles looked down in embarrassment before our mom had turned our way.
"YOU GIRLS DON'T GET EXCUSES EITHER. NOT ONLY DO YOU REFUSE TO TRY TO FIX SOMETHING SO SIMPLE BUT YOU BROKE THE MOST THE NUMBER ONE RULE OF THE HOUSEHOLD AND THE THIRD RULE OF THE GROUND RULES YOU PROMISED TO KEEP."
The Combined Rule
No matter how right she is, I feel too ashamed to feel guilty. I shouldn't have been so hard on Brick. Buttercup should've been open with Butch. Bubbles and Butterfly should've, wait what happened between them and Boomer and Blake.
