Boomer POV

Blake and I were talking to the paramedics as they arrived to take Perce away. As I retold them of what had happened I, something didn't sit well with me. Then Perce said to us "Weak Links, stupid children." We had remembered everything, all too well and couldn't process it all.

I turned to look at Blake who had a tear fall down his cheek. He placed his hands on his head, calming himself then wiping a tear.

~Memory

It was the ruffs first day at a private middle school. They got along with everyone, well Butch and Brick did. Kid's found Brick's unhealthy with being the smartest fascinating, and Butch's enhanced ability for sport cool. Boomer was kind and compassionate and could only draw but no one cared. Blake was quiet, and chill and could make anyone picture look professional but photography isn't exciting. One child name Perce could see right through they're fake smiles and would make fun of them for being "Talentless".

Boomer and Blake took the hits for they knew they had talent.

"Eww get away from me you talentless freak!" Perce's squeaky, cracking, before puberty, voice said disgustedly.

Boomer didn't back down like usual but said: "I have a talent and I'm pretty good at it!" His smirk was cool and Blake usual chill aura was eviler but Perce wouldn't give up.

"Being bad at everything isn't a talent, neither is being overshadowed by your brothers a talent. If you can't make real money off of it then it's useless, as the person who does it." Perce said before turning away to have a happy conversation with their brothers.

Boomer and Blake were both in tears. Not only are they being bullied but they have lost their brother and best friends to this demon of a child. Before moving that same year, Boomer and Blake made a promise.

"If anyone ever hurts us again, we'll leave everything behind, and find a new life. Okay?" Blake said holding out his hand. Boomer nodded and shook his hand. Brick and Butch hadn't known but walked into the middle of the street, where they chatted.

Butch looked super excited to ride in the moving truck. "What are you two doing? We need to go, now!" He demanded pointing to the truck behind him.

It was too late. They had been hit by a speeding car. Brick and Butch had spent a week in a coma due to being behind the main ones who got hit. Boomer and Blake spent a month in a coma protecting their brother from the death defining hit. Some say it was fate others say it was luck, but they survived, but that had been placed in advance classes at their new school, now they have to be carefully monitored at home, catching up on what they had missed. Luckily it was only for a few weeks but they stayed homeschool.

They had forgotten all the pain, they had felt not so long ago.

~Memory End

Bubbles and Butterfly walked over to us overly giggly after talking to Carson. We tried talking to them but they seemed to have their own conversation about some other guys. They also had started teasing us. Soon they had gone back to practically ignoring us. Blake and I had a silent conversation but we knew we needed to leave.

~Later

After Buttercup had left Blake and I had made a U-turn to the front door and ran down the street. Sadly our dad had seen us make an escape attempted and dragged us back home. The worst part is that Bubbles and Butterfly backed us into a corner and made us tell them why we ran away, and we decided we needed time to think on our own. Which meant we needed our full attention on ourselves and no one else.
