Kaycee Pov:

I looked up as I saw Sean staring at me from the other side of his garage. We had finished rehearsing earlier and realized we needed a change of clothes. We both got changed and came back into the garage with the intention to clean up a bit. But that just wasn't going to happen with how exhausted we both were right now. I blushed as I realized he still hadn't stopped looking at me.

"What." I said giggling.

"Nothing." He said still smiling.

I turned my head and looked at the window next to me. It had been getting progressively colder every day. Today had definitely been the coldest of them all. I started to tremble a bit as goosebumps popped up, up and down my arms. 

"Come here Kayc." Sean said as he got up and grabbed something from one of the drawers in the garage.

I slowly got up and wrapped my arms around myself. It was definitely colder while standing up. I looked up to see Sean in front of me holding a thick white blanket. He sat back down and motioned for me to join him. I sat down next to him and he wrapped the blanket around both of us.

"Thanks shamu." I said leaning my head on his shoulder.

We were quiet for a few minutes enjoying each other's company, but I once again started trembling.

"You're still cold Kayc?" Sean asked in disbelief.

"Yes." I said laughing.

All of a sudden I felt his hands on my waist. He picked me up slightly and plopped me down between his legs. He then wrapped his arms around my waist, hugging me.

"Sean there's other ways to get me warm you don't have to hug me." I said blushing brightly.

"I know, but I want too." He replied leaning his head against the wall.

I sighed and leaned back. I felt his chest move up and down every time he took a breath. I felt safe but weird being in his arms like this. It felt like something two people in a relationship would do, and we were certainly not in one. We had tip toed around the idea of being something more but never really got around to it. And of course the occasional flirting never hurt, even though on the inside we were screaming to each other how we really felt. I grabbed one of the hands that he had wrapped around my waist and held it in mine. I intertwined my fingers with his and sighed.

"Kayc are you okay?" He shockingly asked.

"Yeah, I just wanna hold your hand." I said moving impossibly closer to him.

After a few moments of silence I gathered the courage to ask,

"What are we Sean?"

Sean Pov:

I had my arms wrapped around Kaycee when she suddenly grabbed my hand. She intertwined her fingers with mine and moved closer to me.

"Kayc are you okay?" I asked.

We would usually flirt and mess around but she has never held my hand, unless we were dancing.

"Yeah, I just wanna hold your hand." She replied.

My heart grew with the love I felt for her and smiled. We stayed quiet for a few moments, but Kaycee broke the silence.

"What are we Sean?" She whispered.

I asked myself the same question.

What are we?

Sorry to leave y'all on a cliffhanger but hopefully I'll update later tonight. This one really made me feel all nice inside cuz I can totally imagine a convo like this occurring between them. Leave one shot ideas in the comments and I'll try to write about every single one of them.
