Sean Pov:

What are we?

I thought about the question and opened my mouth to give an answer, but no words came out. I had absolutely no answer that would not change our relationship once I said it aloud. I realized I hadn't spoken for a few minutes and the silence was suffocating, so all I said was,

"What do you want us to be?"

"You want the truth?" She asked looking down at the floor.

I swallowed a ball that had formed in my throat and nodded. I realized she wasn't facing me so I said it aloud this time.

"Yes." I said softer than I expected.

"I like you Sean."

Her words came out as barely a whisper but still loud enough for me to hear. My body went still for a moment processing what she had just told me.

Kaycee likes me.

She actually likes me.

"God Sean if you don't like me at least tell me rather than not saying anything." She murmured.

"Kaycee how stupid can you be?" I asked in disbelief.

How could she still not understand that I have liked her for years.

"I've liked you for so long that I can't even remember a time when I didn't."

Kaycee Pov:

My breath hitched as I heard the words come out of his mouth.

Sean likes me.

All the flirting that occurred behind the curtain was not meaningless. All the touching which I brushed off as playful banter meant something.

I realized I wasn't facing Sean so I got up and positioned myself so I was straddling him.

"Are you fucking serious?" I asked him.

Sean Pov:

I honestly could not think of any other way to make her believe I liked her. So I did what first popped in my head.

I kissed her.

She was rambling and she just looked so beautiful. Her hair was messy and her nose was slightly red because of the cold. I placed my hands on her cheeks and slowly brought it down to mine. I placed my lips onto hers and felt as she brought her warm hands onto my cheeks. My heart skipped a beat when I felt her smile against my lips.

There's no one like her.

She pulled back and wrapped her arms around my neck.

"What do we do now?" She whispered next to my ear.

I wrapped my arm around her waist and placed my hand on the back of her head. She moved impossibly closer.

"Well, I hope that we're together now, right?" I ask tentatively.

"Like boyfriend and girlfriend?"

I laughed.

"Yes, like boyfriend and girlfriend."

"Okay." She said looking into my eyes, smiling.

She pecked my lips and both my cheeks.

"I get to do that a lot now huh?" She said

"Yeah if you want."

"Oh trust me I want too." She laughed.

We stayed in each other's arms for a few more minutes until Kaycee had to get picked up. I pecked her lips one last time and said goodbye.

That was the start of the best years of our lives.

Sorry this took so long to update. I don't know why, but after uploading the first part of this one shot I lost interest in it real quick. So this one was kind of a pain to finish but here you go. Hopefully it's good and I have a few more ideas I want to write about so get ready lmfao.
