[ON HOLD] Always together

Chapter 2

It was finally the day she had been waiting for her whole life. It was finally the 25th of November 2024, her 18th birthday, she woke up earlier than the usual , at 6:04 am, and got out of bed. Even though she slept at 2am she felt more energized than ever. She walked up to her closet and put on a shimmery skirt and a white flowy tank top with a dark grey bomber jacket. She styled her Stawberry blonde hair down and curled them into a soft curl,she put her white heels on and headed downstairs.
She was greeted in the kitchen by her closest friends and family, with a gigantic breakfast buffet with cookies,chocolate cake,a chocolate fountain,waffles, pancakes and more. Everybody was excited and congratulated her for her birthday. At this point it was 8:24. They started getting breakfast and everybody sat at the big dinning table and they started talking about everything and anything but all that was going through kate's mind was what she was going to get on her skin. She started overthinking and worrying about it but she put a smile on her face and kept talking to all the people at the table.
After what seemed hours everyone was done eating and they separated into smaller groups and all you could hear where mumbles everywhere. Kate's group were just her closest friends, Lauren,Mina,Stiles and James. They babbled on but Kate was mostly quiet, she checked the time, it was 10:48, people started talking about what her mark could be "it could be a microphone " someone said in the background, another person said "it might be an animal" all of them were my closest friends or family so they knew me very well, they all knew i liked singing and animals. We kept talking, i checked the time , it was 11:42 people started gathering around me like i was some type of cute animal or something. They spoke amongst themselves and the more the time passed the more nervous i got, i felt my heart sinking into my stomach when my alarm rang at 11:55, i could feel my breathing going faster and faster the longer time passes my second alarm rings at 11:59, at this point everyone is looking at me, i felt like i was going to pass out, i closed my eyes but i felt observed, everytime i felt eyes on me i would press my nails into my skin, i could feel my nails going into my skin, my eyes were still closed, after a little while I heard a gasp...
