[ON HOLD] Always together

Chapter 4

After what felt like days of silence I heard the faint sound of sirens coming closer and then everything stoped.
After a long time i heard cries around me and a deep voice talking about me I wanted to get up and hug them but I felt frozen. I could hear everythimg they were saying but i just couldn't get up or give them a sign after a while of Lauren talking to me all i could hear were cries.

Lauren's P.O.V
It was finally 12:00 everyone was excited to know what her mark was but she seemed off not like herself. We gathered around her and i saw her closing her eyes and pressing her nails into her skin. I felt horrible, i felt like I should've told everyone to back away, but I didn't. When it was finally 12:00 her mark appeared, her eyes were still closed, but this Mark wasn't like a normal mark, it wasnt like the one that i had, or anyone here had. It was something different to say the least. It said "always together" and a heart. It was supposed to tell her her career. Suddenly someone gasped and i could tell she was holding back her tears and then she just ran away but i didnt say anything because i knew she needed space.
I sat on the couch and talked to Mina about it but she didn't seem worried, afterall her mark was a bird and a horse wich meant freedom for her, I was worried sick after about 2 hours of her running away so idecided to call her, but it seemed like her phone was off. After about half an hour the house phone rang, I ran to get it but her mom took it from me. Suddenly her face turned pale and she ran out to get an uber i followed after her but no one else seemed to notice that we ran off.
"What happend, Anne, What's wrong?!" I said worried sick
"I-its Kate s-she" she stuttered on her words
"What happened with Kate!!!?" I screamed trying to seem calm but i could feel my voice tensing up
"S-sh-she is in the h-hos-hospital" she said while a tear dropped from her eye
"Wh-what! W-wh-why!?" I responded trying to hold my tears back
She didn't respond and we just stood quietly until our uber arrived we got in and i just looked out the window
I thought about how it was my fault, about how I should've said something when i saw that she was stressed, i thought about everything and i could feel tears dropping from my face
When we finally got to the hospital wa ran in and waited for the doctor, we called everyone at the house and told them what happened, after what seemed like years the doctor finally came up to us.
