Deadly Illusion

Ch.9 :Game 1: Day 6

I wouldn't believe in miracles if they existed, but today I do! For the first time, everyone was alive! I ran each person's room, they all were there. So it takes for me to look out in the hallway for me to stop these murders!

The beginning of the 6th day, a day that change the rest of my life.

I headed downstairs and the storm let up a little. Maybe this is a shine of a miracle? Turning on the T.V. and fixing a bowl of cereal, I waited for everyone to come downstairs. AJ was the first one up and he sat down on the couch. 

" So everyone made it out alive?" he asked. I know this checked the rooms's, why would he ask me that. He was smiling. 

" Yeah, I guess that is what we have to do now. I see the storm is coming up some, we might be able to leave to get help." 

The shower seems to turn on upstairs and the rain started to become softer and softer. For once in my life, I can be relieved for it.

" That seems like a miracle, honestly. But what do we tell the police?" Damn, do we just tell them our friends were murdered, what if they assume it was us? We have to be careful about what we say to authorities. 

" We'll figure something out when the times comes." As we continue to watch the T.V., the shower stops and in comes Laura who just got out of the shower. She was wearing her 2015 Purple Regiment shirt, " The Sea". We got 7th place that year, not our greatest achievements.

" Hey, I just came out of the room, I see Mikayla but where is Brelyn and Alicia?"

" What do you mean? Everyone was there when I left them!" I such a fucking idiot! How could I leave them up there like that ! We all ran into Laura's room where Mikayla was sleeping. Laura was right, Alicia and Brelyn were missing. What about about Robert? Running to AJ's room, Robert was also gone as well!

" Shit! We have to look for them! Laura and Mikayla, check upstairs on the 3rd floor. We will check in this one," AJ commanded. We search up and down for them. All the room's but none reveal our friends fate. We headed upstairs where Laura and Mikayla were at and tears drip down their faces. 

" What is it," I asked. 

" Robert's body was found in the book room and Alicia's body was found in the make-up room," Laura said. She  started crying and the storm started to pick up, and that glimpse of a miracle of no more. 

DEATHS FOUND: 11:18 a.m.

But Brelyn was still missing, where could she be?

" Mikayla, Laura, are you sure you guys didn't see Brelyn anywhere?"

" I saw her when I took a shower, she was getting dressed. I took a shower and came back to the room. That is all that happened!" Laura begin to look at Mikayla who was intimidated by us looking directly at her. " Mikayla?"

" I was asleep, I didn't see anything happen. I know this looks bad, but I swear I don't anything."I started to doubt myself, Brelyn was lying to us all along! " I think we all can agree Brelyn is the murderer. We need to find her, stop her, and take her down!"

We search in and out of the house. Upstairs. Book room. Game room. All the bed rooms. Kitchen. Living Room. Shed. Church. Every fucking where but she was no where to be found. We all met back in the living room where we discuss how she got away with this. 

" She must have got information from one of us about the letter, then she tried to sabotage Abbey's plans," Mikayla said. 

" I mean she came out the room when Emily, Diego, and Bredan got murder, why didn't we think she was the murderer them?" I asked. 

" Because we didn't think she would kill her friends, especially not her dearest." The storm was once more becoming outrage, hopes for going to get help were out of question. 

" For us not believing our own reasoning, we were tricked into believing she wasn't the killer. We are so stupid," Laura said.

" But you know what? Whatever happened to the bodies? The bodies are still no where to be found, does she have any correlation to them?" Mikayla was on to something, if we can locate the bodies, maybe we could locate Brelyn. But the problem is that we don't even know where they could be at. 

" So we found the killer, so now what?"

[ We are on the perspective of Laura and Mikayla who are discussing Brelyn's disappearance in their room.]

" I still can't believe she is the murderer," Laura said. 

" I know, all of this shenanigans was because of her. But why? Why did she do it?" Laura pondered about it for a second and then responded. 

" She was jealous of Diego and Emily maybe?"

" No, her and Emily were more close than Diego ever was with Emily. Maybe she had an emotional break? Not to mention she could have had an alibi or alibi's." Laura laid down on the bed and looked up at the ceiling. 

" Maybe Diego and Emily were alibi's but she killed them," Laura said.

" Why would she do that? They are too close, aren't they?"

" I don't know, maybe they were hesitating to kill or almost got her caught? Or maybe even she wanted to dispose of them to throw them off?"

" You are really good at this, Laura. Almost too good."

" Well, I do want to be in forensic science, so why not start here for a chance, right? I just wish it wouldn't actually revolve around the death of my friends and this stupid ghost, Aural."

" Yeah, I can't believe a ghost exist in this mansion. I am so dumb..."

" Yeah, um regarding the ghost part. You aren't dumb but I do regret ever telling you guys that stupid story. I only got it from Grace."

" Yeah, same here. We had a conversation after everyone attacked me. But she kept pandering on about this ghost and now look where she is."
