Elizabeth's pov

I stared at the woman in awe. I mean, how could I not? She was the picture of a goddess. Long blonde hair, piercing emerald eyes, porcelain skin, the list went on and on. She sat on a black velvet couch in the middle of a beautiful meadow. She gestured for me to approach her and patted the seat next to her, telling me to sit. She smiled kindly.

"Hello young one." She spoke in a soft calming tone. As if she was afraid she was going to scare me off somehow.

"H-hello." I stuttered because I didn't do well with meeting new people.

"Elizabeth is something bothering you?" Her gaze was intend and serious, like this was the only thing that mattered to her at all right now.

"How do you know my name?" I asked with fake courage. Her stare darkened.

"I know all there is to know about you. I know all of your greatest fears but I also know what makes you happiest the most. I know things that could break you with a few words." Her stare turned cold an the background melted into the scene of my brother and I getting attack by a vampire. it replayed over an over again as all I could do was try to shut my eyes. "that won't work little one. Fear is one of the only true thing that remains constant. Fear will always be with us no matter what happens. Pain, misery and sorrow will be the only things you will ever truly know. Enjoy your feeling of joy and happiness while it last. It never last forever. True love does not exist and true joy will never exist either. all that you love and care for will eventually grow old and die as you will be forever stuck at the age of 23. People think immortality is a blessing but they have no idea that it is a curse."

I opened my eyes to see that the woman that had once appeared as a goddess now had turned into something far more evil and sinister. Her hair was raven black and she stood in a circle of blazing blue flames that made her blood red lips and emerald eyes stand out strongly.

"Enjoy it while it last because nothing but fear will last forever."

I awoke with a start as the woman's face was still clear in my mine. The last sentence she spoke stuck to my brain. I looked over at my clock to find it was 7 am. I got up and gathered everything needed to shower. Today was going to be a long day.

Charlie's pov.

I clocked out and left the police department as I headed to my house to see my two beautiful girls and get ready for the BBQ at La Push. I was sure that Elizabeth and Bella would be fine here and that nothing would hurt them but Elizabeth could take care of herself and no one would hurt Bella because she was like family.

'What are you thinking? No one would dare hurt your girls.' I thought to myself as I pulled into my drive way. I went to open the door and Bella opened it for me. I smiled and walked in. I hung up my gun belt and did my usual routine. I told Bella about the BBQ and that she needs to get ready. She nodded and went off to tell Elizabeth.

I went to get changed and made my way down the stairs. Both of my girls where ready and we took Elizabeth's truck since it could fit all of us. She let Bella drive since she wanted me to sit in the middle.

"I just wanted to tell you that if they mess with you or do anything you don't want then to do, Billy already told me to tell you that you have permission to punch them in the face." I said as we stopped in a parking space along the beach.

"Noted." Elizabeth said as she hopped out of her truck.

"I don't think we have to worry about that though." Bella said as she glanced at Elizabeth, who looked nervous and kept messing with one of her bracelets.

"You never know." I ended the conversation as we walked down to the shore. Bella was getting help from Elizabeth on different types of bottles to get an what one would be the best.

I saw a the guys all smiling as we approached but then they saw Elizabeth and there smiles fell from there face. Billy wheeled over to us with a huge smile and shook my hand and My girls. Elizabeth seemed to relax a little when he accepted her.

Emily rushed over to us and led Bella an Elizabeth to where everyone was sitting around a huge fire and a table was set up a few feet away that was filled with food. me and Billy made our way over to the table and filled up plates. we then made our way to the fire and I say beside Elizabeth.

Elizabeth's pov.

The emotions where mixed as I sat talking to Emily. She seemed nice and I had already calmed down when Billy shook my hand. I knew I had a few people here that didnt think I was going to kill them.

I squirmed under the death glared the men had been throwing my way. it started to bug me. Only one hadn't been glaring but instead he seemed to be starring at me in some sort of trance till Jacob punched him in the arm. I only caught the last few words of Emily's sentence.

"-meet my husband." Emily and Bella stood up so I followed suit and walked with them over to the guys. I felt a wave of panic run threw me as we got closer. Emily pulled on the arms of Sam an he followed her with Jacob and the strange guy who had been starring at me earlier.

I was tackled to the ground by a small body and then heard childish giggles as the weight was lifted off of me.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what gets into her sometimes." Emily sighed as I picked myself off the ground. I brushed sand off of my outfit and smiled at her.

"It's fine, really I don't mind." I reassured her as I turned to see who had ran into me. She appeared to be around two with some of Emily's features but resembled the man who held her in his arms. He glared at me as the girl struggled to be free of his hold.

"Sam put Jenna down. I think she wants to apologize." Emily instructed Sam and the little girl was freed.

"I sowwy I knocked you down. I just wanted to tell you I wike your eyes. thy are pretty!" the little girl smiled and giggled at me.

I bent down to her level and started talking in a calm tone that shocked all of the people watching. " its okay. And thank you. Im just happy it was a pretty girl like you and not an icky boy. I like your dress." I complimented her back. She giggled and ran over to Charlie.

"Grandpa Charlie!" I heard her scream and then went back to look at Emily.

"I have never seen her open up to someone like that." Emily said in amassment.

"For some reason, little kids love me." I smiled but still didnt like the look of disgust Sam had on his face.

"Dont you ever talk to my little girl again." Sam growled at me. Emily looked shocked that her husband said something like that.

"Why do you all seem to hate me?" I questioned as I folded my arms stubbornly.

"Cause we don't trust you. We all know you are not human and we don't trust things that aren't human." Jacob said as he stepped forward.

"So what I'm not entirely human. But your little pack isn't human either. My species isn't dangerous to humans at all. So before you judge someone think about what they are first." I huffed as I fought back tears.

"What are you then?" The mysterious third shape shifter asked.

"I'm a half breed. As in half human- half immortal." I looked up with a new fire burning in my eyes.

The third guy smiled and he stepped toward me with his hand out. "Well I never introduced myself. Hi my names Seth."

Seth seemed nicer then the rest of the pack. I took his hand and shook it. "Hi. my name is Elizabeth Silver but you can call me Lizzy." I smiled at him as he blushed.

"Why are you socializing with the enemy?" Sam spat at him.

Seth turned to Sam and whispered, thinking I couldn't hear what was being said, "Because she is my imprint."
