Albus sat quietly for a moment.

'Are you telling us the truth?' he asked.

Obora nodded vigorously. 'I swear it, on me mother's life, she did.'

Albus, and the court had to be sure.

'do you have any evidence?' the court asked.

Obora shook her head. 'no mi'lords, I don't. but the kings' mother did have a vial on her. I saw it with me own two eyes, i did. a vial of amber liquid. she held her fingers in his, god bless him, the king's mouth and emptied out like it was for his own good. afterward the king trawled a bit, and then nothing, I believe he was killed.'

The court roused.

'what were they talking about? have you heard anything, anything at all?'

Obora nodded. 'He had changed his mind. the late king wanted to revoke his announcement, and put the crown on Magnolia. I heard him say, he wanted to make amends with god before he died. '

'Magnolia?' said Albus. 'are you absolutely sure of that?'

Obora swore again on her mother's life. 'The king's mother poisoned the king.'

'do you think, she has that vial on her still?'

'i wouldn't think the king's mother had any hurry to do away with that vial, as the whole country expected him to die anyway. I'm sure you can find it in her chamber if you look thoroughly.'

Albus nodded. 'If we can find that vial, we can imprison the king's mother for murder, and stop the coronation of the queen of scots before it is too late.'

the court was at it again.

'Magnolia is dead!'

'my spies, tell me killed by the king of orange.'

Albus nodded. 'I have heard those rumours too. If they are to be true, we shall vote on either Mary, lady of dome or the Winslow heir. then we must go at war with holland.'

the court quite agreed.

'but first, we must find that vial.'
