TATI P.OV
"How can you not remember his name?! You married him for god's sake!" Anthony was yelling at me for the past hour.
"I was drunk obviously. I didn't know what I was doing." I was in a state of shock of course. Though I had to admit, the ring I was wearing was beautiful. From Tiffany and Co. of course. It was engraved too.
"I'm going to go pull all the public records from the internet because if you get married in Vegas, it will appear online. Anywhere for that matter. I'll be back as fast as I can." Anthony left fuming.
"So.. was he good though. He was your first after all." Stacey broke the silence causing us to laugh.
"I can't believe I'm laughing. I'm so fucked if my parents found out." which they probably already knew about. I thought to myself.
Everything I did always caught wind by the media.
"Calm down, Anthony will sort this out."
"But here's the thing. If I really am married to the guy I slept with, I'd be bummed to get a divorce. He was pretty good in bed cause I don't feel sore at all."
"My my my, love at first sight eh?" Kia said.
"Oh please, that's bullshit." I scoffed.
"Honey, it's either love or that man must really like you to drop at least 100k on your ring. That baby is making me blind!" she said again.
"Let's go for lunch and talk more. I want details from the both of you too!" we headed to Bobby Flay's famous grill restaurant for some hearty steak. While waiting for the food to arrive, I switched on my phone and so many messages came flooding in. Mostly notifying me I had a billion missed calls from my mother and surprisingly Logan.
The only reason I turned it on was so if Anthony needed to reach me, he could. So far, nothing.
"Alright so, yesterday night for me was amazing, His name was Blake Sanders and he was a total sweetheart. The sex was-- mind blowing?" Kia gushed and just then the waiter had arrived to serve us our food and Stacey and I burst out laughing cause he definitely had heard everything she said.
"Are you guys going to meet up again or what?" Stacey asked.
"Here's the thing, I kinda did what Tati did. I walked out before he woke up. I mean.. what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas right? It's not like we could do anything anyway. His job apparently is based in Italy." when she said that, I had an uneasy feeling in the pit of my stomach.
"Hey, funny thing. My guy said he's from Italy too."
"Oh my god. Don't shit with me, you guys. Please tell me you're kidding me." I knew automatically who I was married to.
"You guys, I think... I think I'm married to.. Tristan."
~~~~
"You are married to him. At the white chapel at exactly 4 in the morning." he handed me a black and white picture of Tristan and me. We looked... happy. His buttoned up shirt was undone at the top 3 buttons and his suit jacket was buttoned. His arms were around my waist and I was laughing. He didn't seem to be drunk though. I had that loopy kind of smile, whereas he was more laidback.
Yeah right Tati, cause all sane guys choose to get married in Vegas. "So what are we going to do?" I asked quietly.
"I'll send the divorce papers to him and it should reach his people by tomorrow. For now, just lay low. I'll be contacting his people in a bit to beg them to keep this below the radar." I hugged him cause I would be screwed without my best bud.
