Chapter Six

"Why hello again, little guy." Blake greeted, smiling as he placed a hand on my waist. I smiled back.

"Hi."

"You're a good dancer," He chuckled. "Maybe you could teach Tyler. He's always tripping over his feet."

I chuckled politely.

"Don't get the wrong impression of him, though. Tyler and I have been dating for almost a year now," He sighed happily. "And let me tell you, he's about perfect."

I nodded, and he continued.

"He's really kinky, too. Loves when I tie him up, screams my name-" He laughed when he saw my expression. "Sorry, forgot you were new. Me and Tyler are pretty into BDSM."

"You mean like whips and chains and stuff?"

"Maybe for some people," He hummed. "But it's mostly about the relationship between the dominant and submissive."

I nodded. "Kayden says he wants for me to be his submissive." Blake smiled.

"That means you would surrender control to him, and in return, he'd pleasure you and keep you safe."

"Oh."

Blake smiled, nodding. "It's a lot at first, but some people really like it. Like me and Tyler."

"And Kayden?"

"And Kayden."

"Has Kayden had any other submissives?"I asked, genuinely curious.

"Yes, but just a few," Blake answered. "Last he told me he's looking for something long term."

Something long term...

I didn't have time to ask any more questions, because then we switched partners. Now I was dancing with an angel with long flowing hair and wire rim glasses. I spent a good time wondering if they were a boy or a girl, and finally settled on just calling them 'they'.

They were a better dancer than I was, and I actually had fun as they taught me some more about dance and how to avoid stepping on people's feet. I was almost sad to switch partners again.

The next partner was, surprisingly, human. Her blonde hair was pinned up in an elegant pattern, and she wore a golden blouse with a silver shirt. We talked a bit about social issues, and the conversation soon led to her mentioning her and her wife wanted to build a home for angels.

"My wife is an angel," The woman, I learned her name was Aisha, explained. "And she says almost a fourth are born into poverty."

"A fourth of angels are born into poverty," I agreed. "But almost all demons are, too."

Aisha nodded, furrowing her brows, thinking. I smiled, then we switched partners.

"Hello again," Kayden smiled, kissing my cheek. I blushed a bit. "How are you enjoying yourself?"

I shrugged.

"Use your words."

"It's fine," I answered. "I haven't tripped over anyone else's feet."

"That's great!" He smiled. "I know you weren't too fond of the idea of a party."

"You got that right," I snorted.

"Well, Tyler is getting tired too," He said. "We don't you show him to the bathroom, and you two take a bath? Once you're all out and dressed the party should be over."

I nodded, and as the dance paused as the song began to switch, Blake escorted Tyler to my side.

"Ren will show you where the bathroom is, okay?" Blake smiled. Tyler nodded, squeezing my hand. I blushed slightly.
