"But when I finally broke down and my body
refused to take one more step, she was there."

James' POV
Thursday, 6:42 PM.

She did it. I am so proud of Amelia. The fact that she actually got into Harvard, the school most people can only dream of getting close to, still hasn't really sunken in yet. At some point, my dream was also to get into Harvard. But it unfortunately didn't end that way. I am just happy that Amelia achieved her dream and didn't had it crushed, like me. So even though I'm still a little bit salty about the fact that she tricked me into coming here, I think it was totally worth it for these amazing news! (But I'm still totally getting her back though).

When the initial shock and happiness had calmed down a bit and I was loosening the grip of my loving hug, we decided to get some food. I wanted to get her her favourite food for this special occasion. I didn't even have to ask what she wanted to eat, I know her like the back of my hand.

"So, what pizza do you want, pumpkin?", I asked her, already knowing the answer.

"Why are you even asking when you obviously already know the answer?", she responded amused while raising an eyebrow.

"Just in case you changed your mind, which I assume you didn't, or will ever do", I shrugged.

"There you have it, big brother", she laughed and I joined her in her laughter.

So you can say I worked very hard and used a lot of effort to pick up my phone and to order two pizzas. It was a pepperoni pizza for me and one pineapple pizza for her. I know right! Pineapple pizza, really? I shook my head at the thought. She can be quite weird sometimes, but I love her for it. She's a total weirdo.

After about half an hour the doorbell rang.  You could smell the pizza through the door. My mouth watered at the thought. I looked out the peeping hole and as I basically already knew, there was a pizza delivery right in front of the door waiting. I payed the guy and he handed me the pizzas. I carried them inside and walked into the living room where Amelia was waiting. The second I walked through the door she immediately jumped up from the sofa of excitement.

I can see someone is hungry.

"Here you have your gross pizza", I handed her her box of pizza while making a face. She rolled her eyes at me.

"Says the guy who eats pizza without pineapples. Now that's gross", she fired back, raising an eyebrow. Now it was my turn to roll my eyes at her.

"Let's just eat already", I said while tugging at her sleeve.

Since mom was away on her work trip, we decided as the rebels we are to ditch the kitchen table and eat our food sitting on the comfortable, grey couch while chatting, laughing and just enjoying ourselves for the night.

                                        Amelia's POV
6:56 PM.

I was just about to take another bite of my already half-eaten pizza while listening to James telling a funny story which had me laughing, when I suddenly felt a loud buzz coming from my back pocket. I silently closed my eyes just praying that it wasn't what I thought it could be. I bit my lower lip while I carefully and discreetly slid my phone out of my pocket and slowly opened it. It read: 1 new message from 'Unknown number'. My heart immediately dropped to my feet. I felt cold sweat running down my neck. I thought they had stopped texting me. I had felt relieved, until now. They had apparently no plans of leaving me alone. I was annoyed at myself for being so naive. I wanted to scream in frustration. My brother must have sensed that something was wrong, because he looked up from his pizza and gave me a worried look. Probably because he has known me for seventeen years, he could easily detect that something was up, even though I tried to hide it as well as I could.
