I kept pestering Gio to tell me what 'unfinished business' Matteo was talking about but he was ignoring me. "Why don't you tell me?" I asked for the hundredth tome .
"Why can't you fucking drop it!" My jaw dropped . Did he just shout after me? The tears started forming in my eyes. I walked towards his car and got inside and my tears started rolling down.
"I'm sorry. I didn't -"
"I wanna go home." I blurted out.
"But the honeymoon was for a week ."
"I don't care. I said I wanna go home."
He didn't answer instead he picked up his phone and called someone. I didn't get anything out of his conversation because it was in italian. When we got back I ran straight up to the room to pack my stuff but found them neatly packed into my suitcase.
"The flight's tonight at seven." He went straight to the bathroom without a glance back. It was only three o'clock so I decided to go somewhere to clear my mind and there was one place I could do that. The library .

I just chose a random book and started reading.
GIO's POV
I didn't mean to snap at Belle like that but I was upset because Matteo was gonna try his best to take her from me. Saying she wanted to go home made me upset because I wanted to show her the best of Italy. I sat on the bed lost in my thoughts until Belle ran through my mind. I wonder where she was .
Two hours passed with me lost in my thoughts . Better go call Belle to get ready. She wasn't in the kitchen, garden , the pool , the theatre room or with my mom. There's one place I haven't checked yet. The library.
When I entered the I saw Belle sitting on the couch with a book in her hands reading peacefully. I must have been staring too long because her angelic voice broke me out of my trance."What do you want."
"Go get ready so we can head to the airport." She responded with a nod. I forced myself to go get dressed because I could watch her all day.
