The world is full of strange people. Some of these hate each other for some reasons, some are totally indifferent, and others decide to love each other for the rest of their time. I never thought I'd be part of the last category.
It's already been more than three years since our first night together. We are both still living in that small flat in Paris, drinking tea together, eating together, going out together, and sleeping together. Yes, our relationship is serious and strong, and nobody could break what we had between us.
Nathaniel is still going to college and is really successful, but I've decided to stop my courses for now. I'd rather work for some time and think about what I want to do in my life than being bored and anxious about studies leading me to nowhere. Plus, I found a pretty nice job. I am working as a waiter in Marinette's parents' pastry shop and, strangely, even if it is a very stressful job, I am pretty good at it.
Also, about the situation with Hawkmoth and all... The citizens of Paris aren't really aware about what happened, counting me and Nath. Us and our friends noticed that Adrien is back at doing his modeling career, but me and Nath found it really strange that Gabriel Agreste is still doing active works as a stylist. At least, akumas haven't appeared in Paris since then, so we guess the situation is now solved.
Of course, we are still creating comics together, and guess what ? We now work on the idea I started to write back then, and an editor house specialized in fantasy contents decided to help us ! They found the idea very unique and they loved the fact that such a couple was depicted so naturally. We have already sold a pretty number of copies and we start to have multiple fans on the web. This comic will certainly blow up very soon. We are still working on the Ladybug series as a side project, but we've decided that, later, we will try to auto-edit it.
Today is a day off for both of us, so we've decided to take advantage of it to go to the movies with some other old friends. I look at myself in the mirror, with a pretty confident look on my face. Honestly, this jean skirt and that red jumper with rainbow lines suits me way too well. I touches up a bit my liner before meeting Nathaniel in the corridor. He closes the door behind me and smiles.
« Wow, it was worth the wait, you look superb, honey ! - Hehe,thanks, but... You love the skirt ? - I always love when you wear a skirt. But I'd rather like if you had nothing on you. - Pcccht ! Cut it out, you perv ! »
We share a laugh together before holding each others hands, going out of the building and walking in the street.
We never care about the strange glances that people could give us. Since the moment there was an engagement ring on both our ring fingers, we knew that nothing will tear us apart.
Plus, both our fans and our friends can't wait for the big event that is coming pretty quickly, in six months exactly. And, if you want to know, yes, I'll wear the dress, and I'll slay it.
