Saje.
MONDAY CAME QUICKER than I expected. Sunday was filled with studying and getting over my hangover. I haven't talked to Shawn since the incident. He was confusing to me.
"Earth to Saje!" I jump at Connie's voice, she's standing in front of me with a mug. I take the hot glass and press it against my lips, taking a sip. "You've been acting funny since the club. What's wrong?"
Connie still had no idea I was talking to Shawn Mendes. She tended to make things bigger than what they needed, especially when it came to people like him. She would tell you in a heartbeat that she'd wanna have sex with you and I didn't want that to happen with Shawn. What if she scared him off? Although he acted like my father, I enjoyed his overprotective ways. Or how he demands me to do things and I abide. He's making me feel a way I never felt before.
"Saje Melrosè Diaz."
"I'm sorry. I guess the club was a bit too much for me. I still feel terrible for throwing up on Harry." Half of my lie was true, I was still embarrassed for throwing up on him.
"Yeah his shoes were pretty nasty. Who did you run off with? Some guy I don't know about?" She wiggles her eyebrows in a playful manner, I laugh waving her off. "It's no one. At least not yet." I stand to my feet and walk in the kitchen.
"Oh come on Saje. Why can't I know who this mysterious guy is?" Connie eggs on as I sit my mug in the microwave, I liked my tea piping hot. I lean against the sink, facing her as she looks from the chair. "I don't wanna jinx anything. I feel like I'm getting somewhere."
"I feel it. Since this might be your first boyfriend, I'll wait but if it doesn't happen within a month, I'm becoming Harriet the Spy." We both laugh at her joke as I remove my hot tea out the microwave.
"I wanna know what's going on with you and Champ. Harry and I saw you humping each other at the club." I smirk when she groans loudly.
"Champ and I are wild party animals unlike you and Harry. We like getting down-"
"And dirty." I tease taking my seat back beside her, she smacks her lips. "Basically we both know whatever we do is out of fun plus he's not my type."
"Connie, what is your type?" I stale face her, she takes a sip from cup. "We've been friends for how long and you don't know my type." She says in a shock tone.
"I've seen you with countless of dudes who have differences so it's hard to tell."
"So if I never actually dated them that tells you none of them were my type." I nod my head as if I cared and Connie gasp hitting me with a pillow. "I was joking Connie."
"Sure you was. By the way, you'll have the apartment to yourself this weekend." She gets up and sits her mug down. "Why? Where you going?"
"Visiting mother, father and everyone fucking else. So I'm leaving early friday morning. Try not to fuck in the living room okay?" I grab the pillow she hit me with and threw it at her, she caught it. "Try again later."
Connie leaves the living room and I sit alone, drinking my tea. My eyes land on my lit phone, indicating someone texted me. I reach over the table and grab it, reading over the message.
shawn: i'm picking you up at 7, be ready
As I'm texting him back to say no, Harry sends me a text as well.
harry: wanna go see a movie later on? i'm paying.
I gnaw on my nails, debating on who to text back. Either way, Shawn was going to pop up if I said no or not. He wouldn't listen. I click on Harry's message.
