Shawn.
"Shawn. How've you been?" Mark Benson, my partner since I began running the business. He's helped me countless of times and vice versa. "I've been great. How about you? Fiona and the kids?"
I sat in the red leather chair and skimmed over the alcohol beverages. "We're doing great, can't complain. Fiona is finishing up her clinic so she's gonna be her own boss. The kids are following up well in school."
"That's good. Let's see how long she'll stay in." I laugh causing him to agree. "What made you stop by?"
The waiter comes over and I tell him my drink.
"I'm trying to become share holders with Japan. They are all for the idea and concepts but they want 60% of the profit. That's half of my money. I really want to expand our business there because I know it'll do even better than in New York."
Mark nods and rubs his chin, thinking. "What do you need? When do you need it?"
I smile as the drinks sit in front of us. I grab my drink and cling it with his.

I unlock the door and listen to the soft music playing. I close the door and walk to the bedroom. Saje stood in front of the large mirror fixing her hair. She screams when she sees me staring at her through the mirror.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" She says rolling her eyes in annoyance. I arch my eyebrow at her and she mumbles sorry. "You look beautiful."
"Thank you. I didn't know if this was much or not being that I have—"
"It's perfect hun." I chuckle walking up to her. She looks down at the ground and I lift her chin up. "Stop being so timid and let loose, Saje. You have nothing to be afraid of."
"I do." She answers moving my hand away from her face. I look at her in confusion as she sits on the bed. "What are you talking about?"
"Tell me the catch now, tell me what you want Shawn. You can't randomly pick a girl, let her meet the owner of NY Times, take her to freaking Paris and finger her in the shower." She laughs in disbelief looking at me. "I don't know what it is you want from me and I'm positive you chose the wrong person. You could have an actual Victoria Secret model or someone close to your celebrity status. Someone who looks right by your side and not some shy, quiet girl."
"Are you ready?" I sigh checking my watch for the time. She scoffs and stands up. "You're NOT going to blow me off. What the fuck do you want from me?! Sex? Then no. I'm not some girl who gives up her cat for a guy who can spoil her or a guy she met three weeks ago."
I lean against the dresser and let her go off on me. It was turning me on but I had to show her I wasn't interested. I figured Saje out, I picked out her flaws. She was different from any other girl I've been with. Most girls would fall to their knees if they seen me. But Saje had way more morals than that. She respected herself and that's how you get respect. She's focused on her goals and strives to meet them.
"If you stop talking for a second and let me take you on our adventure, you'll get answers."
She gave in and now we were sitting in the car. She kept her distance as the driver pulled into the area. Charles got out and opened my door, I get out. I walk to her side and open the door, she steps out and thanks me quietly.
"Have a good evening Mr. Mendes and Ms. Diaz." Charles smiled and tipped his hat at us. I gave him a nod and Saje smiled back. "Where are we going? It's literally dead over here."
"You never listen do you? I sense you lack that." I hold her lower back as she steps onto the platform. "Stay right here." I tell her. I walk over to the lights and turn them on. I look over at Saje, she's smiling widely.
"Shawn this is beautiful." I rented out a small cafe and decorated it. The light was a magenta color, leaving the room dark. Candles were set on the table along with our dinner and desert. I had a screen projector facing a old building so we could watch any movie she wanted. "Sit down."
She walked towards the chair and pulled it out, sitting down. I pushed it in and walked to my side, sitting down as well. She continued smiling ear from ear.
"Did you do all this by yourself?" She asks as I sip my white wine. I smirk at her and she laughs. God, her laugh was beautiful and so was she. "I pulled most of it together but I had a little help."
"Now can you answer my question as to why you're doing all this?" Her eyes were focused on mine and I enjoyed the sudden eye contact. I lean back in my seat and ran my hand through my curls. "I'm not some kind of sugar daddy Saje. I enjoy being around you, honestly. If I didn't care about you then I wouldn't make it my effort to see where your drunk whereabouts were. I wouldn't give you the opportunity to meet the owner of NY times magazine."
"I appreciate it dearly but it's still not making sense as to how I'm one of your priorities now. Why did you chose me Shawn?" I suck my teeth and move my cup in a circular motion, making the liquid wave. "I have certain needs Saje."
She rolls her eyes and stands up. "I knew you wanted one thing. You bring me to fucking Paris and expect me not to think a thing? You're crazy! I wanna go now." I sigh and try to control my anger. "Please sit back down and let me explain."
"There's nothing to explain. I really thought you were different but you're just like every dude. I wanna know what goes through you guys' mind as you're playing a—"
"Shut the fuck up and sit down now, Saje!" I say loudly causing her jump. She sighs and slowly sits in her seat. "I'm not some guy who just wants to fuck. This contract will explain everything."
"Contract for what?" She scrunches her face up in confusion. I grab the thick stapled paper and drop it on the table. She reaches for it and begins reading some parts. Her facial expressions are hard to point out until she looks up at me.
"You want me to be your submissive?"
