- Part 2
3 1/2 Months Later :

              A lot has happened in these past months. I ended up staying in the cheer squad,
but trust me it got UGLY with my now best friends. I'll explain later. Speaking of best friends, me and Dinger actually got along enough to be considered 'friends'. Bobby and Jaimie are still together, almost disgustingly happier than ever. I still haven't found love, but it seems Dinger finds it every night ( if you know what I mean). 

                 I honestly never thought I would have met the genuine group of people I have, and maybe I never would have if my family didn't move here. Sure we may look intimidating with the sort of punk attire and cigarettes constantly in our mouths, but once you get to now us, we're pretty cool people.

6.00 a.m
December 7, 1988

            BEEP. BEEP. My alarm goes off at 6 like it does every morning. I get up and immediately remember I gotta leave early to pick everyone up for school. That's right. I'm the new taxi since I'm the only one with a car, and it's winter so we can't walk anymore. I eat breakfast, take a shower, get dressed, you know the rest.

             I rev up the old dodge and head off to Lainie's first. I pull up and honk the horn until she comes out. Of course she always looks perfect as ever, even when she's not trying. Hmph. Must be nice. I head to Bobby's next to pick up Dinger as well. They come out with almost the same clothes on all the time. "Hey girls." Dinger smirks as he hops in shotgun.

                        It's Friday finally and is our last day of school since we are going on Christmas break. "So hun what are you gonna get me for Christmas?" I hear Bobby from the backseat as he continues kissing Lainie. "Oh you know what I'm giving you!" She smirks and we get what she means. "Alright alright!" Dinger snaps, "Seriously get a ROOM!" I giggle because honestly I think everyone is tired of how much they are attached to each other.

             "I swear you guys have like separation anxiety or something" I snort because we all know it's true. "Oh shut up M your just mad because you've never had love before." Lainie snapped back. "So, if I ever had a boyfriend I wouldn't stick my tongue down his throat every time we are in public!"
I stopped the car fast and started to yell. It's getting more heated then I think. "Well at least i have someone to stick my tongue down their throat, while you've never even had your first kiss!"

                Dinger looked at me in shock. "You've never had a real first kiss M?" everything got really quiet. "No," I said shyly. My face started to get beet read so I looked away from everyone's faces.

"I never had a boyfriend, never lost the v card, and never even had a first kiss." I said quietly because now I'm honestly embarrassed "I know that sounds really pathetic huh?" Huh 17 year old virgin who's never kissed? Pretty sad to me. Dinger looked at me with his bright blue eyes, and suddenly I forgot Lainie and Bobby were still in the car.

              He leaned close and grabbed my face. It all happened so fast. His lips touched mine hard, but his were so soft it didn't matter. We pulled away after a couple seconds. "Wh -" I was about to say but then he interrupted me, "Shhh" He puts a finger up to me, "Don't talk just drive." he commands.
The rest of the ride to school was complete silence. So that was my first kiss. With Dinger. I'm confused. But not mad. Not mad at all.

The rest of the day was kind of a blur. Everyone just kind of kept quiet about the situation. It was too awkward or weird to bring it up but it just still doesn't make sense. My head kept racing with random thoughts. Mostly like 'What the fuck happened this morning?' and 'Why would he do that?' and even 'Does he like me?' Which I even thought was a stretch of a question. But seriously. Why would he kiss me like that or even at all?

            I was so confused and needed to get my mind off of him. Which isn't gonna happen soon because Lainie invited the 'gang' to hang out at her house after school.

        I drove everyone again, but this time I made Lainie agree to sit in the front with me to avoid being near him. We get there and have the huge house all to ourselves. We ordered pizza and rented some scary movies.
We must've stared at that TV for hours but we weren't counting. We went through Halloween, Halloween 2, The Shining, and the Lost Boys. I checked my watch and saw it was already 9.

                "So, I heard there is this ski place down state and they have lodges and everything, and I was thinking we should go!" Lainie said, faking a drink of her MountainDew.

This would be the first kind of getaway weekend we have gone to, other than that time we spent all weekend last month at Bobby's stuffing our faces with candy bars while watching MTV.
                   "Th-" Lainie interrupts Dinger, "Well I don't care about your opinions because I already bought the tickets!" She holds all 4 of them up, "We will be leaving next Friday!" We all jump up in excitement.

  "O my this is gonna be awesome!" I squeal. That should be fun right? Alone with DINGER and the clingiest couple in the world. I don't know about that but it should be interesting!
