Virgil'sPOV:
I couldn't focus during lunch thinking about that old shirt. Barley picking at my food and lost in thought caught Logan's attention.

"Virgil? Are you okay?"

"Hm? Oh uh yeah I'm good. Just..distracted is all."

I feel him grab my hand and give it a reassuring squeeze which I return. Maybe I can talk to Logan about it? He'll understand right? I mean he's bound to remember everything from back then.

He might, but do you?

I remember what I need to.

You seem to be leaving out the parts where you were given up.

I wasn't given up! Dad just wanted what was best for me.

Roman and Logan persuaded him to do it.

"Shut up!"

Everyone at the table flinched at the volume of my voice and looked concerned at the echo it held. I stand up and dispose my plate in the sink before trying to walk out. Key word being trying.

"Virge? Kiddo, what's wrong?"

"Nothing dad. Just...my own thoughts is all."

Dad pulls me into a hug and gives me a smile. Logan comes up beside him to grab my hand. Roman places a hand on my shoulder and I take a couple deep breaths.

"Why don't we put on a movie? Cleaning can wait until everyone is feeling 100%."

I shake my head and pull away from everyone.

"No, I'm okay I promise. I can help clean, but maybe after we can watch that movie?"

Dad smiles and nods, grabbing Roman's hand to set up the living room. Logan pulls me into a hug and runs his hands through my hair to calm me down further.

"Are you going to tell me what's wrong? Or should I guess?"

I just snuggle against his shoulder and hide my face in his neck. Logan sighs but stays quiet while holding me. I know I can probably talk to him about all these memories but not now.

"Guys! Couch is ready!"

"We even have Hot Topic Sale's favourites in the first spots!"

"Ro, that wasn't nice."

"Hehe sorry Pat."

Logan and I make eye contact and roll our eyes at the same time. We smile at each other and make our way to the living room hand in hand.

Going to our chair (a soft recliner big enough for Logan to stretch out with me on top) and cuddle up under a purple blanket Roman threw at us.

I don't want this to end. I don't want to talk about my thoughts and my old memories. I also don't want to accept the fact that I'm most likely going to have to.

I just cuddle Logan and focus on Corpse Bride, humming along to the songs.
