"Yuri?"
I hear my father's voice coming from outside of my door. It's muffled due to the blankets I'm wrapped in.
"Yuri... There's something you should come see." He says, before I hear his footsteps fade down the hall.
Peeling myself away from my safety cave, I pull on clean joggers and a red hoodie, sliding indoor shoes on and making my way down the dark hallway towards the main room.
A fluffy dog bounds towards me and knocks me flat on my back.
"Oof!"
I collide once again with the floor.
A wet tongue kisses my face, hands, and neck. "Hi, hi, hi!" I laugh, opening my eyes to see a poodle staring back at me.
"V- Vichan?" I gasp, my eyes widen.
"Looks like him, doesn't he?" Dad says, a smile on his face.
"Uh- yeah..." I trail off, scratching its fur.
"Belongs to a pale guy with an accent, headed towards the hot springs a minute or two ago." Dad says, turning to clean a table.
Wait-
I jump up and race towards the pools, my heart racing.
No way, no way, no way!
I peel around a corner and skid to a stop, my eyes falling on pale skin and silver hair.
I shake my head and rub my eyes, reopening them to look back at what I thought MUST be a dream.
"Ah, hello, Yuri!" A warm accent tickles my ears.
I gulp, standing up straight as the man rises out of the water.
"I'm going to be your new coach." He winks, extending a hand in my direction.
"V- V- Victor?" I rasp, my voice shaking as hard as my knees.
"Yes?" He says, walking towards me.
Oh my- he's NAKED!
I cover my eyes and feel my cheeks burn.
"Yuri, are you alright?" He says. I see his feet, stopping right in front of me.
A warm hand reaches out and tips my face upwards. I squeeze my eyes shut, then slowly open them.
Blinking a few times, I focus on his face.
Good God it was beautiful.
What?!
No, Yuri!
You're not gay!
"Can you please tell me where I can get a towel?" He coos, his finger tickling my chin.
He smells of... is that vanilla?
"Uh- yeah, sure!" My body springs into action and I sprint to get him a towel.
I'm getting a towel for VICTOR NIKIFOROV!
Yuri, breathe.
Your hero is here, you CANNOT faint before getting him a towel.
"Here." I gasp, extending a soft, white towel in his direction.
I turn away, if I look I fear I won't be able to stop.
"Thank you, пухлый мальчик." He says. Taking the towel and wrapping it around his waist, finally covering his modesty.
I sigh in relief, I can finally open my eyes again.
"So, where is my room?" He says, eyes glittering with childish excitement.
"I hope it has a sofa!"
