Chaandaniyaa - Part 3

Part 3:

Abhi has tears in his eyes; he just cannot believe that he finally has some clue about Pragya's whereabouts. He knows where to go look for her now and as destiny can have it she is going to partner with his company.

Sameer: Abhi, Abhi

Abhi (comes back to reality): Sam, tell me more about your meeting with Pragya. How is she?

Sameer: Well she is as pretty as she looks in this picture. She is sweet and very friendly, however closed on discussing about her personal. In fact she didn't even mention she lived in India.

Abhi: she is probably hiding from everyone. I haven't been able to find her in 7 years and I have looked everywhere of her.

Sameer: Ya but you did finally find her.

Abhi: I am not sure sam, whether I have found her or not. All I know is her whereabouts.

Sameer: Don't worry brother, you will know soon. Start preparing to leave.

Abhi: I cannot wait for the weekend anymore; I want to take the first flight out

Sameer: chill Abhi

Abhi: I cannot chill sam, it's important that I leave right away, (Abhi calls is secretary and asks her to book the first available flight in the night to New York)

Secretary: But sir, you have a meeting tomorrow with Mr. Chopra

Abhi: Sameer will handle that meeting; I am going to New York tonight. I am heading home to pack, send me the details over the mail.

Secretary: Okay sir

Abhi is restless and cannot think straight. His mind is all over the place. He is happy he finally found Pragya, he is scared what if she is married or has a boyfriend, he is angry at her for not looking back, why the hell did she just disappear on me, I know I was the one who told her to leave, But she could have at least checked on me once.

Abhi calm down you need to pack and get to the airport. Just focus and get your ass there all your questions can wait. Abhi packs quickly, his mind still thinking about Pragya.

Abhi calls Sam

Abhi: Sam, can you share Pragya's number.

Sam: Sure Abhi sending it right away. Listen Abhi, calm down

Abhi: Sam I can't calm down, I have finally found her and there a so many questions in my head that I am going crazy.

Sam: I understand Abhi, but still get there calmly and sort out your stuff.

Abhi: Thanks Sam.

Sam: for what?

Abhi: you got me the best news today, I found Pragya only because of you

Sam: chill Abhi, this is how it was meant to be. Go safely and hopefully everything will work out

Abhi: thanks I need all the luck, bye Sam

Abhi's secretary calls him

Secretary: Sir you are booked on the 7:00pm flight.

Abhi: Thanks, I am on my way to the airport. Send me all the papers regarding our deal in New York

Secretary: Sure sir will compile it and send it across

Finally after 7 years Abhi can see a ray of hope, for some reason he is at peace with himself

New York:

Pragya's phone rings

Pia: (Pragya's cousin sis) Hey di

Pragya: Hey pia, how you doing

Pia: Listen I need you to come to LA tomorrow

Pragya: What happened pia, all well? Is Kiara okay

Pia: yes di all well, I just need you here and it is urgent

Pragya: Okay pia, you are scaring me. I shall be there by late evening. Where is Kiara? I want to talk to her.

Pia: Kiara has gone to the Park with the babysitter. You can talk to her once you are here. Get here quick now.

Pragya quickly books her tickets to LA and runs home to pack.

New York Airport:

Abhi is excited about finally being able to meet Pragya, Just as he has collected his baggage he rushes to exit. He wants to at least get a glimpse of her today itself, so he decides to run to Pragya's office. Just as he exits, Pragya is entering the airport, a familiar feeling engulfs him he looks around but cannot see anyone he knows. He looks around one more time before dismissing the thought and thinks to himself. I think just the excitement of knowing i am close to her is making me go crazy. Still wondering he moves towards the driver waiting for him, while Pragya is headed to LA.

As the stream of people moved in and out of the airport, Pragya entered and as she stepped in her eyes caught his silhouette, however by the time she could turn around to get a better look he had disappeared yet again. A dejected Pragya looked around one more time, smiled hit her head and walked towards the check in counter.

The feeling of having seen him did not leave her. She could just feel it, but her eyes gave away another story, she couldn't see him anywhere. Talking to herself, Pragya he is not here, just get this thought out of your head. You have imagined this yet again. Why will he come to see me, he was the one who threw me out, told me I am the source of all troubles in his life. A whiff of sadness engulfs her, with a lot of difficulty she walks towards the terminal. 

Hey Guys here is Part 3 of Chaandaniyaa. Hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it. 

So here is a little background to this. This was a story i was generally writing without Abhi and Pragya in mind. a week after i wrote the airport scene the KKB airport scene after the leap appeared on my instagram timeline and i just loved it and i thought this is how i would have wanted this scene to be shot. I went and watched the whole episode and then the whole series. Even after being an ardent admirer of Shabir and initially watching KKB, i kept away from this series as i hated what was happening. However now i just watch to ogle at Shabir.
