Chaandaniyaa - Part 7

Abhi and the little girl take their respective ice creams and head their different ways. Abhi looks back at Kiara and can see her animatedly talking to a lady whose back is facing him.

Abhi looks harder and realises the lady looks like Pragya, he cannot be mistaken... he rushes in the direction but before he can reach her Kiara and Pragya have got into a car and taken off. Abhi is very disappointed. He wonders if the girl was Pragya. Then he thinks to himself, why was that small kid with her? Whose could it be? Abhi walks back to the taxi and asks the driver to take him the hotel.

Pragya and Kiara:

Kiara: Mumma do you know I just met a man at the counter; he loves the same icecream that I do

Pragya: Oh really?

Kiara: Yes Mumma, not only that.. He also loves coffee and rock music just like me.

Pragya: That is strange

Kiara: Mumma guess what I called him?

Pragya: What?

Kiara: Mega Me (with that Kiara giggles)

Pragya looks at her daughter giggling and she remembers how Abhi used to crack stupid jokes and laugh at them. She gives Kiara a peck on her forehead and hugs her tight.

Kiara: What are you doing Mumma, how am I supposed to eat my ice cream?

Pragya: Badmaash, chalo finish your ice cream quickly

At the Hotel:

Abhi has checked in to the hotel and settled down, Abhi had passed out and by the time he wakes up its pretty late to go looking for Pragya (one more day gone by and I still haven't been able to meet her, what the hell is happening?) ... his thoughts go back to the little girl he bumped into. Thinking about Kiara.. that kid was so cute her smile was just like Fuggi's... His mind goes to the lady he spotted with Kiara...

Why was Pragya with a kid, firstly was it Pragya in the first place, did Pragya marry someone else, no no Sam told me she is unmarried, but he didn't mention anything about a Kid...

Abhi's head starts aching with all these questions. Holding his forehead.. Pragya where are you, can you stop playing with me and finally just appear. I will die with anxiety. I have spent 7 years looking for you and finally when I have found you, you keep playing hide and seek with me. Can you please please just come back to me.

Abhi walks to the balcony for some fresh air, he looks up at the Sky and is hit with memories yet again. Its a full moon night, Abhi smiles, everywhere I go you hit me like a bullet, how am I ever going to forget us, he picks up his note pad:

It's a full moon night

The stars are bright

I know you will be looking up at the moon and smiling

You loved full moon nights

I loved them cause I had you by my side

I have looked at the moon and smiled today after a very long time

Only cause I know you would be smiling too

You love full moon night and

I love you

At A Home in LA:

Pragya is sitting next to a sleeping Kiara and looking at her angelic face. Pragya looks outside and it is a full moon night, she smile and picks up her notebook and pens down something:

Suniye, you know our daughter is 7 years old now. She is a complete replica of you. She loves everything you used to. Her habits are just like yours. she is the reason I have survived for the last 7 years. The symbol of our love. You remember you wished to have a daughter just like me, we do have a daughter, and however she is just like you. I wish someday I can tell you about her, I wish some day you finally meet her and I am around to see the happiness she will bring to your life.

Pragya drifts into deep slumber thinking to Abhi and suddenly wanting to meet him and telling him about Kiara. While abhi thinks of how he will face Pargya tomorrow and doses off in the balcony.

It is a beautiful morning and abhi wakes up with the birds chirping and the sunrays hitting his face. His body feels cramped, he looks around and realises he slept off in the balcony itself. He quickly heads to freshen up and head to the address that was given to him to finally meet Pragya.

Abhi approaches a beautiful house; he looks at the house and wonders whether to go in or not, how will Pragya react when she sees him, Will he forgive him? He is still staring at the gate when a cute girl (Kiara) comes in to sight. She is running around and then comes Pragya and she is trying to feed her, while Kiara is dogging her. Pragya finally catches the naughty little girl and Kiara screams "Mumma I don't want to eat egg please, I want Cheese toast"

Abhi stands there rooted at his spot. His worst fears coming true.
