'Lucy in disguise'

Lily pulls the velvet curtains closing us into the luxurious suite and already my eyes are scanning all the beautiful vintage dresses laid out on rails in all four corners of the room .

"I have all our elite dresses her and some other pieces that will work well with some of the pieces " Lily smiles .

"This is jess our nannie and this is Joan but I think you have met Joan before " I smile as I introduce them .

Lily's assistant fetches us lattes as Zayn sits with pram in the corner and takes a seat beside them on the royal blue poof .

He takes out his phone to answer some texts ,

"I'm looking for a dress for the christening party , your invite arrived right ?" I ask and she nods excitedly .

"Yes I'm looking forward to it " she giggles .

"So size 8 ? " She asks enthusiastically but I shake my head .

"Size 10 stock .. " I reply quietly and she smiles .

"Girls you can pick what you want for the party , think of it as a bonus " Zayn casually says not taking his eyes of his phone and they gasp in surprise .

"Zayn is buying so nothing is off limits" I wink and he scoffs playfully at me .

"I'm just like one big cheque book isn't that right ! " he replies rolling his eyes.

"I earn my fair bit too " I scoff at him and he laughs out loud .

"And I don't see you spending it " he scoffs

"Isn't whats mine is yours and what's yours is mine dear ? " I tease .

"Not yet " he warns playfully .

"Oh my god yeah show me the ring ?" lily cries out and she takes my left hand in hers .

"It's beautiful" she gasps and I giggle excitedly , it is the most amazing piece of jewellery I have ever seen .

Nolette hands me my coffee and I pace the room looking for something striking , lily picks out some really pretty dress and immediately I see jess gasp when lily holds out a pale blue knee length silk dress .

"Do you like it ? Why don't you try it on ?" I suggest .

"It's a piece from Sashay burkin , i picked this up in New York " lily smiles and she hands her the dress .

"I couldn't it's £400 " jess gasps .

"It's ok " Zayn smiles and I smile gratefully at him . It's such a sweet thoughtful thing to do for the nannies .

While jess tries on her dress I see lily hold up a green cotton dress with a red bow to Joan . She blushes slightly at the sudden attention on her as she takes the dress and runs her hand along the material .

"It's a vintage chloe" lily smiles .

"But it cost Like -

"Don't even say it " I warn Joan.

"Just go try it on .. " I giggle and that's when I see it ,

A dusty pink lace couture dress with pearly white beading ..

"Oh lily what's that ?" I gasp in surprise .

"Funny , I was about to show you this , it's actually a two piece " she laughs .

Lily grabs it from the rail and when she holds it out I gasp in awe .

It takes my breath away .
