Chapter seven

~Jess POV~

I had a feeling Cole was gonna be on my case about the whole 'why is a cheerleader a law major', but there was no way in hell I was about to tell anyone.

Now, for Kim. She looked fucking pissed but, she just sent me the 'drop it face'.

And I was trying to ignore it but, come on she wasn't pissed this morning and she usually enjoys her mechanics class.

"What the hell is he doing here?" Kim sneered when she saw Cole.

"He's Trent's friend and I asked them to have lunch with us." I said.

"Who the-" Kim was cut off by Trent who stuck his hand out.

"Hi, I'm Trent and you must be Kim, it's a pleasure to meet you." He said with a smile.

OMG thank you! He's such a gentleman I could die. I really wanted to slap Kim though, like really?

Kim looked surprised and weakly shook his hand then looked at me.

"Wait, is he the unlucky guy?" she said with a smirk.

I glared at her and then rolled my eyes.

Trent looked at me confused and Cole just laughed.

I looked at Trent and shook my head. I looked between Cole and Kim.

"Do you like know each other?" I asked.

"New mechanics partner," Kim mumbled.

"Oh." I said, still wondering why she was pissed.

"Wait isn't-" Trent started, but was cut off by Cole who yelled, "Shut up!"

Trent smirked.

Wait what just happened? Trent sounded like he knew Kim too. Trent could have seen Kim at the bar, but unless Cole saw her that day, there was no way Trent would be able to make a connection unless...

"Wait OMG your the-" I started when I was cut off by Cole who yelled, "Yes! Okay, now shut up!"

I smirked. Ooooooooooh Kim was going to be pissed when she found out who he was.

"Wait the hell are you fucking people talking about?" Kim asked looking between the three of use.

We all just shook your heads. She glared at me but I just smiled sweetly at her.

"Come on let's go get lunch," I said an started to walk toward the cafeteria on campuss.

After we got our food, we sat together, Kim and me on one side because she refused to sit next to Cole. I bet she liked him because well he's hot (not as hot as Trent but still) and he had this certain vibe that made him different. And I bet Cole likes her too, with the way he's sending her looks.

I doubt they'll notice though. And with the way Kim has sworn off me, getting them together will be one hell of a hassle. Not that I could say much. I haven't sworn off men completely I just don't trust them. Two very different things. And no matter how much I liked Trent, there was no way I could trust him anytime soon.
