The pizzeria is normal as always. Night time is occurring and all of the children were leaving with their parents. The hint of pizza and soda is a fresh scent in the air, making children happy they came here.
One little child named Fargo is sitting alone in the corner. She anxiously stalks over the children, watching their every movement.
She sighs as she continues to sit in the dark corner of the room alone. Her ears twitch, for she could almost head drops of water splatter against the flooring.
Her parents don't tend to notice the main fact that she doesn't play with other kids. They just go off and make strange noises in the bathroom.
Her eyes seem lifeless as she places her chin on the table, not caring what any of the children thought of her.
She watches them with curiosity as they constantly play in the pizzeria without a care in the world.
The animatronics sing and dance for them, but she never really cared about them. She didn't know why. It's just something about them seemed off to her. Something about them brought chills down her spine and makes her wish she never came here.
"If only it was simple as that..." Fargo quietly sighs out as she continues to patiently wait for her parents to return.
She continued to sit there for what seems like hours. The clock ticks with anticipation, wanting the children to leave. Fargo watches the clock in amusement, but yet, boredom.
She waits in that room for another twenty minutes before she finally hears the clock's gleeful ring, screaming at them to go home.
She peeks her eyes towards the pizzeria doors in amusement, ready for her parents to pick her up. The once happy children sigh and nearly cry when it is time for them to go. Their parents hold them by the hand, and some of them even carried them.
Fargo smiles when she sees the peaceful look on the children's face, and she continues to wait in the corner of the room.
The clock continues to tick, and almost all of the children are gone. A few of them fell asleep on the stage, and the parents came to pick them up. The janitors sweep the floors in misery too, which makes Fargo feel suspicious deep inside.
She continues to wait, hoping her parents come to pick her up soon. The silence in the pizzeria sends an awful sensation of dread deep down inside Fargo.
The sun starts to dim and lower. She looks around for her parents one last time. The pizzeria stood empty with only a nightguard entering the room.
She worries even more as she glances at the clock one last time. The clock ticks with exact precision, and the time is 11:55.
Fargo leans her head slightly down. Stress and anger roll into one as her fists slowly clench. She could sense the anger boiling inside of her while her fists are ready to break the table in two.
She shakes her head constantly and light tears pour from her eye sockets. The hot stripe of tears roll down her cheeks, and softly land on the table, making a small damp noise. The tears keep rolling as Fargo struggles to absorb her feelings, and what has happened.
She sits there in the corner, drenched in her own tears, still hoping her parents would show up. Her eyes gaze towards the exit, believing her parents would waltz right in any second, but a deep conscious in her mind said otherwise, and fear clouds her brain once more.
Suddenly, she hears a light, scratchy noise. Her head darts to her left down the hall, but nothing was there, or it could have been because she was in the dark.
The noises continue through the halls, making Fargo feel uneasy inside. She stares down the hall, trying to make out the figure in the shadows, but no matter how hard she tries, the figure remains hidden.
She slowly gets up out of her chair in a cat like pose. The chair makes a squeaky noise, slightly startling her as she cautiously heads down the hall in a slow pace.
Darkness surrounds her, leaving her eyesight to be very dim. A part of her wishes she could be a bat right no. Her eyes dart around the room, and her lower lip slightly trembles. Fear and dread conquers her inside out, but she holds it together and proceeds.
"Who's there?" Fargo calls out to the figure, trying to be brave. She could sense her knees shaking, and the pizzeria lights go out.
She is left in the dark with nothing but her gut and the figure that stood before her.
Fargo heads towards the figure with caution, but the figure slowly backs off. The room continues to grow in an eerie silence, and Fargo holds her tongue. She hears the heavy panting of the figure as he continues to look at her.
She glances all around her, but all she can see is a red dot constantly beeping on the security cameras. The lights slightly frighten her, and she nearly feels like crying, but she holds it in.
Her body slightly trembles as she senses the figure advancing towards her. It's breathing becomes more rapid while its pace increases, causing Fargo to slightly whimper.
"Are you okay?" The voice calls out to Fargo, making her eyes widen slightly in confusion. His voice sounded scratchy, but at the same time, comforting, which confuses Fargo.
Her head slowly looks up towards him, and a few small strands of tears escape her eyes. She can't help but feel scared, and she knew why, but at the same time, she couldn't tell.
"Who are you?" Fargo stutters in a scarred tone as she takes a few steps back. She can sense her body shaking in fear as cold wind brushes against her skin. Every part of her screeches at her to leave, but a part of her deep down wants to stay, or is just too scarred to move.
"I'm Springtrap," Springtrap quietly says in his raspy voice to her as he follows Fargo. "I understand if you haven't seen me before then,"
Springtrap says that last sentence in a sad tone, making Fargo halt. She glances at the figure and guilt showers her. Her head lowers and she closes her eyes in silence.
The only noise in the room is the sounds of the animatronics moving around, trying to find the security guard.
"I'm here to warn you," Springtrap says to Fargo as his eyes peer around sections of the room.
"What is it?" Fargo asks in a very confused yet terrified tone, making Springtrap give her a concerning look.
"The animatronics are alive, and they kill anyone who's here once it hits midnight," Springtrap quietly says to Fargo in a stern tone.
Fargo's eyes widen and her lower lip trembles as she gazed around the very room where the animatronics were. Everywhere she looks she can sense wide scary eyes staring at her, waiting to pounce.
"What should I do?" Fargo asks Springtrap as tears nearly flow down her cheeks.
"Come with me," Springtrap tells Fargo. "There's this place that can keep us away from he animatronics until they have to stop,"
The clock continues to tick, but it grows louder, making Fargo turn her head towards the clock. It ticks and ticks with no stop, until a giant bell bongs. The clock strikes 12:00 am, and Fargo gives Springtrap a terrified look.
"We have to go," Springtrap informs Fargo as he lifts her in the air with his arms. He holds her like a mother to a baby. She clings onto him, trying to not think of the animatronics.
Springtrap carries her through the halls. She can sense the rooms growing smaller and smaller, making her slightly nervous.
He brings her inside of a small hole, and without hesitation, and lets him. She could hear the animatronics start to laugh maniacally, which makes her scarred.
The room she is brought in is very small, and only meant for a few people, which makes it slightly crowded to Fargo. The walls of a thick steel plates that rise about twice the size of her height. That doesn't seem to bother Springtrap when his ears bang against the steel ceiling.
The room remains empty, with no one or no thing inside of it except pieces of burnt wood and ashes. Fargo glances at this room in fear, and her body slightly shakes, but she proceeds to stay there, knowing that the monsters out in the pizzeria are far more dangerous and threatening.
"Why do you stay in here?" Fargo asks Springtrap in curiosity. "You're an animatronic, so you can probably hang with them or something,"
Springtrap turns his head, and remains seated, trying to ignore Fargo's question. Yet when he glances back, her gleaming eyes full of curiosity begs him to tell her; although he wishes not to.
"They don't like me because of some things in the past," Springtrap starts out in an average voice, but the volume goes dimmer and dimmer with every word.
"What happened?" Fargo asks Springtrap as she scoots closer to him.
Her eyes seem to glow with each question she asks, making Stpingtrap partly groan and smile. He knows that he shouldn't tell her, but a part of him wishes to admit to her the dark secrets in this place.
"Some bad things have happened here, Fargo," Springtrap sadly says to Fargo as he lowers his head. "There was a time when the pizzeria was full of children laughing and dancing everywhere, until one day. A girl named Elizabeth, my daughter, was attacked by one of the animatronics. Of course the culprit was never found and all remains fine for the pizzeria, but, I still miss her sometimes.
Although Fargo obtained some answers, she couldn't help but asks more questions. Her eyes stare blankly towards Springtrap, trying to piece together the mysteries that are hidden in seem to be this child friendly place.
Springtrap can still her her mind trying to find the answers. It nearly sickens him of how she wouldn't stop pestering him about it, but he understands why.
"Who is your daughter?" Fargo asks Springtrap.
Springtrap looks over at Fargo with wide eyes. He wishes to speak, but his tongue holds him back. An awkward feeling rises in the back of his head, banging inside of his mind to be let out.
"Elizabeth. She was just about your age," Springtrap tells Fargo as she listens to every word. "She always danced around with curious eyes. Maybe she was too curious sometimes, but her fascination in things are wonderful,"
"Really?" Fargo asks Springtrap.
"Yeah. I could never count how many questions she asked about the real world, but the one I couldn't answer is the one that lead her to her death," Springtrap sadly says as he sighs out. "Sometimes I see her at night, with those joyful eyes. Can't help but put a tear in my eye of how she died,"
Fargo looks at Springtrap full of shock. Her eyes are wide and her body stays frozen. She doesn't know what to say.
"The animatronics here will kill you if they find you," Springtrap tells Fargo. "Many nights I hear the screams of night guards. Mainly new ones since the others don't survive, but that's how it is here,"
"How do the animatronics kill them?" Fargo asks Springtrap.
"They stuff you in a suit, which apparently has wires and circuits that kill you," Springtrap says to Fargo. "Can I ask you something?"
Fargo looks at Springtrap with a confused look. His stern look at her doesn't send any chills, but something in her tells her that it should.
"What is it?" Fargo asks Springtrap.
"Why are you here in the middle of the night?" Springtrap asks Fargo. "None of the children stay after closing hours,"
"I was waiting for my parents to pick me up," Fargo says in a husky voice. "I guess they must have forgotten about me,"
Springtrap's eyes narrow towards Fargo, and his lips slightly spread. (they aren't going to kiss) He looks at Fargo in a sad way and grabs her. He pulls her in and he feels her warm embrace on his fur. (Not sex either!!!)
Fargo clings onto his fur as tears pour down her eyes. She can feel the strand leek down her cheeks, happy to be released from their cage. She feels his arms wrap around her, and suddenly, and doesn't feel scarred anymore. Instead, she only clings onto him, wanting to be comforted.
"It's okay," Springtrap whispers to Fargo in her ear. "I'm so sorry that they left you,"
"Yeah," Fargo quietly says to herself.
He continues to hug her for a few more minutes. She clings onto his fur, never wanting to let go, and Springtrap let her.
"Fargo," Springtrap says to her.
He patiently waits to get her attention. Her head slowly raises itself as she look up towards him, and only small strands of tears remain.
"Do you want to stay with me?" He asks her.
Fargo's eyes widen as she slowly heads back to the other end of the wall. Realizing his mistake, Springtrap looks away from her and nearly punched himself.
"What do you mean?" Fargo asks Springtrap. "I still have to go,"
"You don't have to leave," Springtrap tells Fargo. "There's plenty of food here to last forever,"
"What about the animatronics?" Fargo asks Springtrap. "And I can't just live a life off of pizza!"
"I know you can't, and there isn't only pizza here," Springtrap quietly tells Fargo. "And can you be quiet, the animatronics will hear us,"
"That's what I mean," Fargo tells Springtrap. "I can't stay here all of the time,"
"I know, and that's why I thought of a plan," Springtrap tells Fargo. "There are a few suits without any wires and circuits. The animatronics are really stupid, so they won't be able to tell that it's you. You can literally walk around the place all night and they won't tell the difference,"
Fargo looks at Springtrap with wide eyes. She can't tell whether she should be scarred, happy, or nervous, but something still lingers inside of her.
Springtrap scoots closet to Fargo, and she looks at him in a suspicious way. Words couldn't escape her mouth, so she remains quiet, just looking at him.
"You need a new home since your parents left," Springtrap tells Fargo in a sad tone, making tears bubble up in Fargo's eyes. "And I just thought it would be best if you stayed here, that's all,"
Fargo looks away from Springtrap, and closes her eyes, letting the tears drip down her cheeks once more. She couldn't decide whether to stay or not, but she can tell that Springtrap is waiting impatiently for her to choose.
She only nods her head, which makes Springtrap smile. The sound of a clock ringing echoes through the halls and inside of the hidden room, startling Fargo slightly.
"Don't worry, everything will be fine," Springtrap tells Fargo.
"Yeah," Fargo says in a happy, but off put tone.
"I'll go get the suit. You wait here," Springtrap tells Fargo as he heads off, leaving Fargo in the room.
She waits in the room, but she can't help but peek a little outside. Her eyes linger towards the door, and she can't help but open it.
She looks in the halls, and it is empty. She crawls out with curiosity, trying to see if anything bad happened. She looks around the pizzeria, but can't find Springtrap anywhere inside can so she decides to check outside.
She looks outiside, and she smells something really terrible out in the dumpster. The smell pierced her nose, and she can't help but head over to it to see what it is.
Fargo is about to peek inside of it, before she hears Springtrap slam his hand on the lid. He looks at her with wide eyes, but in a slight angry tone. He carries a small heavy box in his right arm.
"What are you doing here?" Springtrap asks Fargo.
"I thought it would be okay to look around the place, since the animatronics..." Fargo begins.
"They may still come after you," Springtrap warms Fargo. "You'll need this if you want to survive here,"
"Sorry," Fargo says to Springtrap.
"Don't worry about it. You're safe now, and the animatronics haven't gotten you. Come on, we have to get inside," Springtrap says to Fargo as he leads her to the doors.
"What is in that dumpster?" Fargo asks Springtrap.
"Something really stinky and bad," Springtrap answers as the pizzeria doors close, and the sun starts to rise.
