He sees a torn apart animatronic on a small little desk. The dim lights give him little to see. All he could see was that tiny desk, and it brought shivers up his collar bone.
The shadows almost seem that they were glaring at him with their intense eyes. Something seems to move in the dark as slick as a snake. It continues to watch Alfred, making him even more nervous than before.
"It seems you have entered Circus Baby's auditorium," Hand Unit says in a raspy glitchy voice. "Then you'll see the animatronic that need to be fixed,"
"Why did I come here?" Alfred asks himself as he slowly gets up.
"There will be a flashlight on the table. You can find the spare parts in this room. I will close the vent now. There is no going back. You must complete your task if you want to get out,"
"Oh no!!!" Alfred yells out.
He hears the vents slam shut. There is no going back. He is trapped in the room with an animatronic.
Sweat pours down Alfred's cheeks. Every drop smoothly falls off of him and lands on the metal ground.
He glances over at the vent. He places his hands firmly on the bottom of the vent as he tries to lift it open. There is no luck for Alfred.
"There has to be a way out," Alfred tells himself.
He presses his hands onto the floor as he gets up. He slowly heads over to the table, being cautious with every step.
He reaches his hand out towards the flashlight and grabs it. He points it around the room while the flashlight is on, nervous of what is in the dark.
He sees a desk in front of him, with a small file with only a few sheets of paper. Alfred peeks inside of the folders, desperate to see if the papers might lead him the way out.
He reads each file, one by one. Every page he read brought him to wanting to read more. Curiosity overflows him as he reads him. His eyes dart all over the pages.
File 1.
A tragedy has happened today at Circus Baby's pizzeria. A small girl has perished because of one of the animatronics. Nobody knows how it happened or even why. Even the security guard sees it as a freak thing. More investigations will take place here. The police will find out what happened.
File 2.
Many pizzerias have been attacked by unknown people. Some may say that the accident involving the small girl may have something to do with it. Others think not. So far, all the police could find is trails of blood trickle down through the halls. Nobody knows when these murders will be solved. The pizzeria is forced to shut down for now, but there is a chance that a new one will appear soon.
File 3.
Help. Someone help. There is something going on in this pizzeria. Something..... evil. There is no way out. There is pounding of feet go through the walls. Every step something will always watch you. Don't come into this pizzeria. What ever you do, don't come in here.
Alfred gasps when he reads these papers. He glances all around him, checking if anything was stalking him, but he couldn't see anything.
"This place was bad from the start!" Alfred thinks to himself. "Now I definitely have to get out of here,"
"I see you've read the files," a voice echoes. "Isn't it strange of why they would be here?"
Alfred glances around the room, checking for any signs of somebody, but all he could see is the desk and the table staring at him.
"Don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you," the voice calmly assures Alfred.
Fear covers Alfred head to toe. He's paralyzed in place. He squints his eyes shut, trying to hold back the nightmare playing in his head. His palms sweat and are shut tight. His grip on the flashlight is still strong.
"Why are you afraid?" the voice asks Alfred.
The voice seems to be calming, but in a uptight way. It leads Alfred to open his eyes, but stray nowhere near from where the voice was coming from.
"Why are you afraid?" the voice asks Alfred once again, making Alfred flinch.
He looks all over him and points his flashlight towards the front glass. The flashlight started to flicker out, making it even harder for Alfred to see. Although the light kept flickering, he could still see something hiding in the shadows, constantly watching him.
"Leave.. me... alone!" Alfred stutters our, pausing at each word.
"But it's fun to watch you," the voice chimes out. "I like to watch the nightguard,"
"Wait, you've watched all of the nightguards?" Alfred asks the voice.
"Yes, and you have been the most scarred of them all so far," the voice laughs out.
Alfred gives an annoyed, and scarred look as he slowly heads over to the table with the animatronic. The voice seems to stop as Alfred picks up a small sheet of paper hidden on the table.
Welcome new employee. I see you've read this, and I'm currently with you, watching your every move. You have to dismantle the animatronic's circuits before time runs out. If it does, then you won't be wanted for this job and you will depart shortly. I hope you have a fun time.
Love, Hand-Unit
Alfred shudders when he read the love part, but his entire body stays still when he read the depart part.
"Please mean that I get to go," Alfred thought to himself as he crosses his fingers, but a deep sensation inside of him knew that he is going to die if he doesn't do this.
"Okay, I have to get out of here," Alfred thinks to himself once again as he looks at the torn apart animatronic once again.
He reaches out towards the animatronic. His fingers extend towards the animatronic's face. He feels the cold metal and traces his fingers along the animatronic's cheek.
"Why do they want me to fix this?" Alfred asks himself as he pokes his fingernails inside of a small crack of the animatronic.
"Do you need help?" the voice asks once again.
Alfred turns around, but freezes in place. He shines the flashlight once more, but he couldn't see who was talking to him.
"Why do you want to help me?" Alfred asks the voice.
"You seem like you're having a difficult time with your job. I just wanted to help," the voice says once again. "All you have to do is open the faceplates and grab a small chip inside,"
Alfred glances around the room once again. He looks over at the animatronic. His eyes slowly close and he remains silent. He slightly leans his head down. His arms lower downward, having the flashlight point towards the ground.
"I guess I have no choice," Alfred quietly says as he opens his eyes.
"There is a button just below Funtime Chica's cheek. You have to press it to open the faceplates. Once you do, there is a chip in the middle of Funtime Chica's forehead. Grab the piece, and you will be complete with your job," the voice informs Alfred. "You can trust me,"
Alfred's eyes widen when he hears that line. His body slightly stiffens, but he follows the voice's orders.
He rubs his hand along Funtime Chica's cheek and presses the small button under it. A few clinks and clanks happened before the faceplates opened. Dusk flies into Alfred's face, making him cough.
"You don't have much time left," the voice informs Alfred. "You must hurry,"
Alfred looks towards the sound of where the voice came from, and slightly nods. He spreads the faceplates apart a little bit more. His fingers slowly heads over to the chip inside Funtime Chica. His fingers gently grab the chip and pull it out.
"Thanks," Alfred says to the voice.
He waits for a minute, but the voice never responded. Alfred glances over around the room, wondering when he can go.
"Well done, Eggs Benedict, it seems you have completed your goal," Hand Unit happily says.
Alfred hears a screechy noice. He turns around and notices that the vent was slowly starting to open again. It already has cobwebs hanging from the door somehow, making Alfred wonder how long he was in the room for.
"Your job is complete for the night," Hand Unit informs Alfred. "Leave the chip on your way out. We know where you live, and we won't hesitate to kill you. Have a wonderful night, and we hope to see you tomorrow,"
A clump stays stuck in Alfred's throat, making it hard for him to speak. The words stay stuck in his throat, so he just nods his head and heads over to the vent.
He looks back towards where the voice was, but yet, nothing is still there. A suspicious look appears on Alfred's face as he continues to crawl through the vent.
"I hope that lady is okay," Alfred thinks to himself as he crawls through the vent. "I have to know who she is, but how?"
Alfred continues to head down the path until he reaches the elevator. The fan spinning makes him feel uneasy inside, and Hand Unit's threat makes him even more terrified.
He takes out the chip and places it on the table. He holds his hand on the chip for a few seconds, not making one sound.
He heads over to the elevator, and the doors slam shut, making him jolt. He patiently waits as the elevator heads up, and back to the outside world.
