My shift just ended finally, now I get to go home after such an interesting day. I need to tell Lynn about it and she can also tell me what's been up with her.

I think I'm just going to call her so I don't have to walk home by myself completely. It's only around lunch time for her right now anyway.

"Bitch finally, you work too much." Lynn says in the phone and I laugh, her vulgar language is hilarious. "Hello to you too."

"I don't have to say hello when we were already having a conversation, duh. Anyways let me spill my shit." She giggles.

"Alright, then I've got to tell you about my day, it was freaking crazy." She snorts at my choice word.

"Freaking....anyway, so you know how I told you I thought my dad was dating someone? Yeah I was at his this past weekend and on Sunday I was out with a few friends getting some ice cream and we totally ran into my dad and his lady friend." She explains excitedly, I'm glad she's happy about it, when her parents separated we were just starting to become friends, it was extremely hard for her.

"Oh that's so lovely, did he introduce you?" I ask while turning the corner, just about 5 more minutes and I'll be home.

"Yes! Yes he did, her name is Darla, she's very sweet, sweeter than my mum, and she is so beautiful!" I giggle, very happy for my friend and her father.

"Okay, so tell me about your day"

I go on and tell her about Jessica asking about my hair again and I tell her about Calum. "Ooo, Calum, Australian you say? Love, I say you get to know him and start dating him and them ya know he probably has family here in Aus, then when he takes him with you on his "family vacation" you can just hang with me!"

I laugh, that's the utmost ridiculous thing I've heard today...other than what Calum said earlier. "I don't know if that's a good idea, Lynn he was extremely rude, very aggressive, and I told you what he bought right? Two packs of beer, condoms, cigarettes, and a bag of chips."

"What's wrong with chips?" She laughs and I roll my eyes, finally getting to my apartment. "Lynn, I'm serious, this guy was very intimidating, and he was extremely rude, then calling me names and asking me to hang out, and then was rude again."

"Wait? He asked to hang out!? Why aren't you hanging out? Is he ugly? Oh my god Har, you need to give me more details."

"Yes, well no, he didn't actually ask," I walk into my apartment and smile at Roman "Hey Ro, were you a good boy? Let's go outside." I grab his leash and attach it to his collar.

"And what else?? Har, tell me." My best friend begs into the phone.

"He didn't really ask, I mean he did ask, but he said "we should hang out, when are you free" or something like that, I don't know, it sounded as if he made the decision for me and just needed a time." I frown while walking Roman, I'm off at Tim's tomorrow, but I'll be at Dusty Covers tomorrow instead, just in the morning though.

"Harlow." Lynn says in that voice that has me know I said something rather stupid.

"...what?" I mumble to her, "Harlow, he wants to fuck you."

I'm instantly caught off guard by her statement. What? Why would anyone want to do that with me? I'm so confused. No he didn't, that's weird. He just met me, why would he want to sleep with me?

"Um, what? No." I feel my cheeks go aflame with embarrassment. "Yes Harlow, he is obviously interested."

I shake my head, despite knowing she can't see me. "Well then how come he was rude to me?"
