Amy's POV

It's been a total of 1 month since we first encountered Steve on the street, and a week since I blocked his number from my phone. I was feeling more confident in myself so today I was going out with Signe.

We were going to go shopping and hang out around the town. Both of us were aware of the risk of being out and about which is why we agreed that if I felt anxious or unsure we could both go back to Sean's to hang out there.

I was currently getting ready. I was wearing my green alien sweater and some leggings and converse. I pulled my hair back into a ponytail and was doing my makeup in the bathroom. Mark was kindly making pancakes downstairs for our breakfast. Chica was playing around the living room with her toys and got up to jump at me as I came downstairs.

After eating I grabbed my bag and kissed Mark on the cheek saying goodbye. I met up with Signe and we spent the day together. Everything was great.

Marks POV

I was proud of Amy for stepping out if her comfort zone and heading out today. It did us both good to relax and not have constant pressure and anxiety over us. I had just finished editing a video and hit upload and headed downstairs for lunch.

I got downstairs and searched for Chica. Where was she? I couldn't find her so I made my way towards the back door to find it open and Chica was outside. Maybe Amy left it open. I reassured myself. I let Chica back in and she followed to the kitchen, as I was preparing her food I heard footsteps and whipped around to look behind me. Nobody's there it's just your imagination.

I turned back only to regret it as a shadow came over me and I was hit in the head with a baseball bat and fell to the ground. I groaned and rolled over, looking up to see Steve smirking at me and holding the bat. I tried to get up and run only for him to shove me back down. I scurried backwards against the wall and held my arm out to block his attack but after one more hit, I fell back and started to loose consciousness.

As the darkness started to surround me, he stood looking down at me. "Amy is mine!" He said, and with that, I blacked out.
