'The Answer' a Ruphire fanfic

What is This?

Before you read this story, there will be a lot of mistakes, I apologize, I am writing with one hand right now due to my clumsiness so Im using voice texting. Enjoy!

Sapphire POV

It was my first day as a Sophomore at Homeworld High. I hit my alarm clock as it made its stupid beeping noise and rolled over. I climbed out of bed and walked through my small apartment, into the bathroom to change into a black knee-length skirt with a white shirt tucked into it. I made sure my bangs where curled over my eyes.
I finished getting ready for the day, eating, brushing my teeth etc. Then I rushed out right in time to catch pearl pull into the driveway. Pearl, Lapis, Peridot and I all carpool together. Although, Pearl wakes up at 5:30 to get ready in the morning, she gets to my house by 7:30 so I have plenty of time to get ready. "Sapphire! You're early," Pearl says. "I'm right on time"
"Exactly."
"Am I always that late?"
"YES!" Lapis and Pearl say together.
We talked for a while, Until we pulled into Peridot's Driveway. Waved bye to her mother, and ran out to the car. She started her log as soon as she got into the car. "Log date seven twenty-three." Lapis started laughing. "Lapis I was busy I told you stop doing that".Lapis was still laughing. She sighed "OK OK fine." Pearl pulled out of Peridot's driveway and drove straight down the road then took a left .I never knew why She didn't just ride her bike to school, seeing as it was so close.

I opened my locker put my backpack in and pull my books out. First Period, Science, My favorite period. I walked down the hall, passed all of the other students that looked so happy talking to all of their friends on the way to class, I don't really have any friends in my first Period. Not even amethyst. I knew a lot of students seeing as I was a class president of last year, But no one really talked to me this year. I didn't know why but it was just the first day and I still had pearl, lapis, peridot, and amethyst. Even though amethyst and I weren't really talking. Every since she joined the baseball team, we never really had time to hang out. I was almost to science when I tripped .it was blue, the second youngest Diamond .Yellow was the oldest, and pink was youngest.I had never really met white diamond but from what I heard she's the meanest. Echoridge down on the floor to pick up my books. But someone else pick them up for me. It was one of the players on the baseball team with amethyst standing behind her. She held out her hand to me. "Sapphire, right?" I nodded and she pulled me up. "Well sapphire I'll see around. She handed me my books and walked off with amethyst. I looked back at her as she walked away. Amethyst caught me looking so I just kept walking.

School is over. Pearl had ballet class so she couldn't take me home. Peridot helps teach kids art, And Lapis, she left school early, probably to go steal stuff and drink. The girl I bumped into in the hallway, well her name is Ruby I was partnered with her in a group project some stupid. Social studies thing. Anyways she gave me her number. Maybe I can just call her and ask for a ride. Just as I picked up my phone. "What's up Sapphire? You look lost" I looked behind me there she was, Ruby. She walked over to me. "Just need a way to get home."
"You can take my car, I know we just met you but it seems like I could trust you" she handed me her keys. "Don't you need we get home?"
"No I have practice, I can just ride with Amethyst"
"Why don't I just stay for practice?"
"It's pretty boring but it's your choice you can just sit in the bleachers practice is only an hour and a half I'll meet you at the car" she walked off. I looked around for a seat. I sat down and opened my homework I still had a page to do even though the first day of school. I could see Ruby and Amethyst joking around I never even knew each other, I mean a new and this was on the baseball team but I didn't know Ruby was with her I started my homework but I couldn't stop thinking about Ruby for some reason I can get her out of my mind why did she like me so much?

Practice ended early and I met Ruby by the car.She smiled and opened the car door for me. I climbed in and she went around opened the door, and climbed it with me "hey sapphire you hungry it's like six, and I thought maybe we could just hang out I can invite amethyst too if  you want." I nodded. I'll text amethyst I said I can only imagine if how awkward it would be if amethyst wasn't there I mean I would sound pretty desperate for a friend since none of my friends are in any of my classes, pearl and lapis are in my third. But they don't sit by me.We pull up to the restaurant and see Amethyst waving at us. Ruby opened the door. I looked around it was a diner style restaurant. We went to find our table and I looked over to the next table. The Diamonds.
