Tonight was the night. Tonight was the night to see if Alex liked girls. As she set up the popcorn for herself, she changed into her pajamas which were just a gray tank top and black gym shorts and she tied her brown hair into a bun. as she grabbed her blue fuzzy blanket, she wrapped herself in it looking like a blue burrito. As Ash picked up a book to start reading as she waited, Alex came in looking a bit like a hot mess but more hot than a mess. "hey." Ash said putting down her book. "Where have you been?" Ash questioned. "I've been playing basketball. I beat the boys" she quietly panted. " I'm just gonna take a shower and then I'll be back," Alex said excitedly as she walked to the bathroom. A few minutes later, Alex walked out of the bathroom in a bright yellow shirt and some blue shorts. " Hey." She said tying the strings on her shorts. As she said that, Ash looked up at Alex from the book she was reading to meet Alex's eyes with hers. As Alex walked over to her bed, she picked up a thin, fuzzy, black blanket off of the wood floor. Alex sat down and for a minute all they did was stare at each other until Ash broke the silence laughing, and Alex followed her. "So do you wanna start first?" Ash asked trying to hold back the rest of her laugh. "Sure," Alex said still laughing a bit. "Ash truth or dare," Alex said smirking. "Truth," Ash responded with a bit of a smirk on her own face. "Do you like anyone?" Alex said with a giant smirk across her face. "How original," Ash said still with a smile on her face. "Yes I do like someone," she said blushing a bit. "Who," Alex said laughing a bit while bouncing her eyebrows up and down twice. "You never asked who," Ash said with a smirk. "dammit," Alex said still smiling. "So Alex, Truth or dare?" Ash questioned with a huge smile on her face. "truth," Alex said. "Whats your sexuality?"Ash blurted out. "I'm a lesbian," Alex said somewhat confidently. "Cool," Ash responded happily. "yes," Ash thought in her head. "Okay. Truth or dare?" "Dare" Ash replied with a smug look spread across her face. "hmmmmm...I dare you too...kiss...," Alex said while thinking. "Oh, crap," Ash thought getting a bit scared. "...I dare you to kiss your book." Alex said smiling. "Thank freaking god," Ash thought relieved. Ash picked up her book and started to kiss it sloppily, while Alex started having a laughing fit and Ash joined in after doing the dare. "Okay...truth or dare," Ash said trying to hold back the rest of her laugh. "dare," Alex said while still smiling. "I dare you tooooo... sing the highest note you can," Ash laughed. "Oh god," Alex replied chuckling yet stilling look frightened as hell. Alex proceeded with a screech that sounded like a joint that hasn't been oiled in 100 years, trying to move. "HAHAHAHAHAHA!" Ash laughed loudly while clapping her hands and smiling widely. "Nice job," she commented before going back to laughing. And Alex joined in with a laughing. "Okay truth or dare," Alex asked. "truth," Ash responded. "Okay. What is your sexuality?" Alex questioned, looking into the large, emerald green eyes of Ash. "I'm biromantic and asexual," Ash answered smirking. "oh and my preference is girls," Ash added. "Nice," Alex said smiling. An hour later, Ash looked at the time and saw that it was 12 in the morning. "Ummmm Alex... I think we should go to bed now. We do have to get up at 7 tomorrow." "ugh. That's probably a good idea," Alex responded. A few minutes later, Alex was out. But Ash couldn't sleep and all she could think about was what Alex had said. "I'm a lesbian" repeated over and over in her head. Soon enough Ash fell asleep with a smile on her face knowing that she had a chance at Alex liking her.
