Warnings: mentions of sex, quite a bit of swearing (I'm Australian, give me a break), very awkward reader.

Notes: Some time in the middle of Detroit, but Connor isn't a deviant yet and he's somewhat friends with Hank. I actually had fun with this (probably cause its f-ing weird) But if you'd like more Detroit Become Human fics then let me know! And requests will always be open : )

Y/n was standing next to Hank, talking about the case like they usually did while at work. She wasn't on the same case as Hank, however. She was merely helping him out a little, as this is what they would usually do when they both happened to have a little extra time on their hands. It was good to have an outsiders opinion on certain things.

Y/n was actually partners with Gavin but he was an asshole and she preferred to spend her free time with Hank, whom she considered a friend. Hank didn't have many friends, but y/n worked her way through his cold exterior, into his warm and fluffy core. He was practically a giant teddy bear.

"Sorry to interrupt, Lieutenant. But, I may have found a clue that will progress the case." An assertive but also calm voice erupted their conversation, causing the pair to look up at the android wearing a grey suit with stylish hair. Connor. His arms were down by his sides as he stood tall and without a flaw in his posture, his soft, chocolate brown eyes glancing between the two as he awaited a reply.

"Jesus Christ. Alright, hit me with it." Hank huffed at the androids sudden appearance, crossing his arms and leaning back on his desk while Connor explained what he had found. Y/n however, couldn't focus on what he was saying, far too distracted by his perfectly carved facial features and adorable puppy-like eyes.

She hadn't really talked to the android much, her obvious crush (that everyone BUT Connor seemed to know about. For a detective robot, he sure was clueless to some things) was keeping her from being able to form proper sentences in front of him. She would get flustered easily and tongue tied when she had to talk to him about the simplest of things. It was like her brain stopped functioning whenever he was around, only focusing on how pretty he was.

"Detective? Are you alright?" His voice caught her off guard and she had to blink a few times before realising he was, in fact, talking to her. She cleared her throat and stared at him with wide eyes, trying to focus on what she was going to say so she didn't sound like a gulping fish out of water. However...

"Oh, me? Yes, fine I am doing... I mean, yes, I am doing fine. I mean..." She pauses to take a deep breath, filling her lungs as much as she could before exploding. She was surprised Connor didn't bring the fastness of her heartbeat to their attention. She was sure he was able to know how fast it was pumping. "...I'm okay, why do you ask?" She asked with a nervous smile.

"It appeared that you were dazed. Lost in thought maybe?" Connor tilted his head to the side as he leant forward ever so slightly. All Y/n could think about was how adorable he looked and why he's even talking to her. She couldn't  hold a proper conversation with him, so why would he even bother?
