"Have you noticed anything different, Marius?"

"I beg your pardon?"

"Ryad and Monika."

"Ah."

"My apologies."

"But they seem..."

"Closer?"

"Correct."

"It is forbidden."

"Correct again."

"So my thoughts and feelings..."

"Are love." Elias concluded, looking over at Marius, tweaking at his shield, as silence dawned upon them. His pale skin started to become its same tone again, the pink and redness starting to fade as the heat of the room was crawling under his skin. Elias seemed to be very into his shield at the moment, that all Marius heard was the sound of clinking noises every so often, as a whirring noise was now heard as well. Marius must not have noticed, but looking above his head  he saw a ceiling fan whirring quietly.

" Why do you have your fan on in the winter time?" Marius questioned his odd friend.

"What was that?" Elias asked after a minute, not taking his eyes off of his shield.

"The fan." Marius said to him, causing Elias to look up at it.

"What about it?" The man asked, causing a quite annoyed look from Marius.

"Why," he started, "its on." He spoke more sternly now, not realizing he was demanding instead of asking. Elias gave Marius a look of question, letting out a breath before tweaking at his shield again.

"The feeling of a cool breeze in my face is something I appreciate. Sitting in the heat is not." Elias concluded, finishing off his adjustments. Marius was looking down at the ground, at his white socks, hearing his friend call his name, "hm?" Making eye contact with him, he saw a smug look on his face.

"Say cheese!" Elias cried of joy; earning a confused look from his friend. Lifting his shield, he pulled off the flash, blinding his friend. Marius screamed in anger, "Elias!' His arm went over his face as he placed a hand out, waving it around trying to see again.

"Glad it still works," Elias said as he smiled, looking at it as he placed his tools down on the bed.

"You are not helping!" Marius complained, rubbing is eyes as all he saw were white speckles every time he would blink.

"I thought it would work as a memory eraser." Elias said this as a goofy smile presented itself on his face. This earned a not so happy look from Marius, huffing as he looked at the ground. As silence dawned upon them yet again, Elias grew serious now: "I am terribly sorry my friend."

" I just want to know why I have these feelings. I would gladly appreciate if they stayed as mutual friendly feelings. But why? I feel much more intimidated by him nowadays."

"Ever since Cher-"

"Yes, Elias. Please," he pleaded, "do not remind me of the horrors of that terrible night." The man had let out a sigh, his elbows resting on his legs, and his head rested in his hands.

"It happens my boy. Everybody will experience this feeling. As long as six is not aware, or as long as it is not brought up to anyone else but Monika; you will be safe I promise you."

"I do not understand why." Marius cut him off, looking at his friend now. Elias' expression changed a bit as he thought.

"Many reasons I suppose. Terrorists, let us say, they find out and capture one of the two lovers. Then what? Interrogation, correct. Now if they spill, we are in grave danger. If not, then, perhaps the circumstances do not change. We are still in grave danger; entering enemy territory to save the other lover. Torture would be the result the lover would have to face. That is the least that six needs to worry about." Elias finished speaking now, placing his shield down, standing and stretching.

"Elias," Marius started, not listening to what he was really saying. "I think I may be addicted to the way he makes me feel, when I think of him."

Elias sighed, knowing marius had not listened to what he was saying but brushed it off simply, as marius now stood from Monika's bed. Marius felt as if the room was growing stuffy, exiting the room without a word, causing elias to grow worried yet confused as well. Marius now moved to his shared room with dominic, to his surprise not seeing the man there. Taking his coat off he let it drop to the floor as he changed into something more comfortable. A pair of black sweatpants and a orange t-shirt, as his new attire. His socks stayed on, as the engineer placed his other clothes into the dirty hamper, and grabbed his outdoor attire, taking it downstairs. Placing the attire on the clothes rack he walked into the kitchen to see ryad making some coffee.

"Evening marius." The man greeted

"Evening ryad." Marius replied to the greeting, seeming a bit drained. Ryad noticed this and looked at him.

"Want some coffee? You seem exhausted." He stated as he poured fresh coffee in a mug. This earned marius to glance over and give the Spanish man a nod of approval.

"Thank you." He said as he took the coffee cup and placed it on the counter.

"No problem." Ryad smiled and patted the German's shoulder before walking into the living room after having poured two cups of just plain dark roast, before seating himself besides Monika, where Tina sat on the other end, and Sébastien followed by seating himself next to Tina.

Marius was disgusted, honestly. Who drinks dark roast? Marius put two teaspoons of sugar in his coffee, then two milks into the coffee. Stirring it he took a sip of the drink, as he felt his insides heat up from the warmth. Looking out the kitchen window he saw dominic standing outside in the cold, looking quite upset. Marius sighed in defeat, pouring another cup and made the coffee just like dominic liked it.

When he was done, he put his slippers on, and made his way to the back door. Opening it, he noticed Dominic didnt move. Walking over to the man, he handed him the coffee. Silence now rested between the two, as marius shivered from the cold.

"Come inside, dominic. It is quite cold and you will catch a fever." Marius finished, holding his coffee mug close to warm his hands, he held his shoulder lightly before giving it a squeeze. Marius dissapeared behind the door and joined the four on the couch.

"Yea," dominic said aloud as he looked at the cup of coffee as the cream mixed with the dark. "I do mother." He said as he looked at the now dark sky.

"I think I do."
