So I'm going to tell you a story....
I have five animals...
Two gerbils
One dog
And two birds...
So it's the summer and believe it or not it gets hot here in Canada too
It's not always winter here
So to keep my gerbils cool in the summer I open the top of their cage and put a small fan in to bring in the cool air
(I do this because they have an aquarium for a cage so the air inside is hotter than the air in the room)
So anyways
I left to go do something whilst the top was open...
And gerbils have legs like a kangaroo and that helps them jump higher than a hamster or a..... I don't know pigmy mouse?
Anyways
I cam back maybe two, three hours after to see a flash of beige run into my bathroom.
I dismissed it as Widemouth messing with me again.
So I went to my bed and sat there
I was on Instagram when I saw my gerbil running around like he was getting chased by a vacuum..
He was frantic so I spend ten minutes trying to catch him..
Gerbils are fast on those tiny legs...
He's fine now and he and his brother are in a timeout ....
I'm not crazy I'm just insane....
They are my babies
*hisses*
