There it is...... The door to hell, no, YG's office. Both Jinhwan and Junhoe could feel sweat rolling down and their hearts beating loud and fast.

"Boys, you can go in now" YG's secretary smiled at them, she knew about their relationship so she gently pats their shoulders to calm them down. "Don't be so stiff, he won't eat you, good luck!"

Both of them took a deep breathe, interwine their fingers for the last time and pushes the door open.

"Good morning sajangnim, sorry to disturb you so early in the morning" Both of them bowed and Jinhwan began talking.

"Good morning." YG was having his coffee while looking at some documents. He looked up and smiled a bit. Great, he's in a good moos today, the best chance for them to tell him about their relationship.

"Sajangnim, this is regarding my relationship with Junhoe." Jinhwan is nervous but its now or never. "We are more than just bandmates, we're currently dating each other, please, approve us to be together." Both of bowed, this is it, it's either them being together or getting sent away back to their hometown and say byebye to their idol life.

YG looked them for a while and said
"I think I've already lifted the dating ban of iKON last year... Didn't I?"

Taken a back by the question, it took Jinhwan some time to reply "y-yes"

"I knew about your relationship months ago and I had your manager to keep an eye on you two..."

Jinhwan never thought that YG would know about their relationship before this and he's surprised that the manager has been telling their boss about their behavior as a couple. Well, that's why he's the CEO of a successful entertainment company.

"Sir, does-does this mean that we can continue dating each other?" Junhoe asked, looking nervous. This is the moment, whether they get to continue doing what they love, or this marks the end of them here.

"You two seem to behave well and there's no negative impact on the team so I have no right to interface your personal life"

He approves.

This is too good to be true but it is. All their worries were throw far away, they wanted to hug each other tightly and cry their lungs out. They've been walking on egg shells for the past few months, too scare to be found out, and how they're free.

"However, you must know that the public may have other thoughts on this" That's right, they still haven't pass through the hardest stage, they against the public especially the netizens. "As your boss, I will do my best to protect my artists but you, yourself had to keep in mind that your actions will be noticed by the people out there, I'm sure you know what I mean."

"Thank you, sajangnim. We will beware of our own actions and we will not bring shame to the company nor our team" Both of them bowed once again.

"Sir, we plan to keep our relationship a secret to the public first" Junhoe added. "Thank you for your time, sir. Have a nice day" and they left.

It wasn't easy facing the public when they perform, they had to keep on practicing until they can't feel their body. It's even harder when it comes to opening up their relationship to the public especially when you're both males. This is a cruel world.

"Jinani, we did it! We told him!" Junhoe exclaimed while choosing his ice cream. Since the weather is so hot, both of them decided to have some ice cream before heading back to their dorm. It's been a while since they walked back to their dorm instead of sitting in vehicles.

Junhoe chose a chocolate flavor while Jinhwan chose a chocolate mint flavour. "Ah hyung! I'm paying! Keep your wallet" Jinhwan laughed, it's nice, everything is nice especially when there's someone that loves him that much.

After getting their ice cream, they found a perfect spot to sit down and enjoy their ice cream. The weather was nice, not too sunny, a bit cloudy and chilly. The spot they chose was hidden, just the two of them there, no manager, no paparazzi, just them. Their own little world.

"This is nice, isn't it?" Jinhwan locked their fingers and lean against Junhoe, inhaling his scent, it's the scent of his shampoo and some light perfume, it's refreshing.

"I guess this is our first date, hyung" Junhoe lean his head on Jinhwan's while looking at the beautiful sky.

"Well, it's a bit unexpected and incredibly simple..." Jinhwan smirked "but you know I love it. Juneyah, thanks for everything. If it wasn't you, if you weren't by my side all this time, I don't think I can tell sajangnim about our relationship, I don't think I can even tell the members" Jinhwan held Junhoe's right palm and gently kissed his hand.

This is the kind of love Jinhwan always wanted, being loved and respected at the same time. He loves how Junhoe kisses him soft and gently, letting him feel loved instead of kissing him full of lust. Yes, there are times he likes it when it's full of lust and need but he loves it more when he's being soft and caring to him, he can feel the love, and he sometimes felt bad for not being able to show his love for him the way Junhoe does. He's not brave enough, he got too much in his head.

"Junhoe, I just want to let you know that I love you very very much until it hurts and I'm sorry that I'm not brave enough to show it true my actions even though I'm usually the flirty one in the group but when it comes to a serious relationship I'm nothing more than a mess" Jinhwan wants to let him know how he feels, he wants to let him know that he loves him too, if not equally then more, he loves him so so much.

It was silence at first, then Jinhwan was pulled into a warm embrace.

"Ah how can this hyung be so cute"

"Jinani, don't worry, alright? I know you love me, I can see it in your eyes. Don't you remember? We can communicate with each other by just looking at each other, this is the magical thing between us, isn't it? I love spending everyday with you, no matter when we're singing, dancing til our legs gives out or just fooling around with the others, I love all of these. I know that you're not the type to show your love through actions, don't worry, you have your way. You don't have to change it, you are who you are and I love this Kim Jinhwan a lot so don't sare you change a single thing about yourself. Promise hyung?"

"Promise." He gently hooked Junhoe's pinky.

Those words, sweet as sugar, a bit cringy but that is what Jinhwan needs for the moment. He fell in love with this "double-sided" Junhoe more and more everyday. Junhoe can really surprise him at times, Jinhwan always thought that he himself will be the mature one in this relationship but he's wrong, the mature one was always Junhoe and he is just a mess. But who cares anyways, roles or anything doesn't matter, all that matters is the love between the two of them, isn't it?

Being in love doesn't mean that you just simply do what the usual couple things like going on dates or getting surprise gifts for each other. Yes, it is nice but the true beauty of it is respecting each other, supporting each other, being there for each other when something went badly and grow together along the journey. And Jinhwan is glad that he found this kind of love with Junhoe. The hardships may come in the future, they might face challenges regarding their relationship when the public found out about it but it's alright, they're here for each other, the members will be there for them too.
