[for, more the less, players who are actually higher than level 0]
Level one ships are not the best for combat, though when used for combat are generally annoying. The Swallow, Sparrow and Lark aren't recommended for combat. trade with these vessels, and wait for better ships.
The Swallow can hold the most cargo, has the 2nd best health (The lark has the least health, coming in at 2700, Swallow at 2800), and is the same speed as a Sparrow. I strongly recommend using this ship when you're at level 1.
This is a Swallow. the key way to notice a Swallow is it's back sail, a friend of mine calls it a Tail.
The Sparrow is, to sum it up, a Swallow without the Tail. It has the same speed of 6, it carries 2 cargo (half the cargo of a Swallow), and has the most health for this level. This isn't used by many people of this level because of the cargo, and those who do use it, use it because of the health. this is the worst ship to use, not because of it's health, but because of how it doesn't have much cargo. I strongly recommend not using this ship.
This is the Sparrow. you can tell the difference between the Swallow and the Sparrow. The Sparrow doesn't have a tail.
And finally, We have the Lark. This ship has the least health, has the 2nd best cargo, and is faster then the other ships (the Sparrow and Swallow has a speed of 6, while the Lark has a speed of 7 with the ability too hold 3 cargo). Effectively, this ship can get to places with haste, but it trades health and cargo space for speed. I wouldn't recommend using this.
This is a lark. You can tell it's a Lark because of it's sail.
This concludes the Level 1 Ship Category.
