*Seth's POV*

Today's the day we have to pick Scarlet up. We drove in the car, barely saying a word. Robert was letting me play my Selfish Machine CD by Pierce The Veil.

"So...you excited?" Rob asked. I just shrugged.

"How are you feeling about all this buddy?" I shrugged again. He sighed.

About five minutes later, we were parked and walking in.

"I'm here to pick up Scarlet Powers," Rob said to the lady at the counter.

"I'll send some guys to get her. Good luck with her." She replied.

"She can't be that much trouble," Rob replied.

"Trust me, she is."

Rob and I frowned at that. "She has reasons Miss, so please don't automatically just think she's causing trouble for the heck of it," Rob said. I smirked at him, happy he said that. Then we heard the screams of a girl.

"LET GO YOU! I'M NOT GOING! PLEASE!" She sounded scared and upset.

"That's her," the lady said and mumbled "good luck." I glared at her. Three guys were carrying Scarlet. Two had her arms and another had her legs. She had tears falling as she screamed, making a scene. Another guy was carrying her stuff. I felt really bad, but pissed. Why did Robert have to choose someone like her?! They carried her out to the car and put her in the backseat as she screamed and sobbed. It was obvious she was scared.

"You stay here Scarlet. Do not move," one of the guys said.

"Buckle Scar, and quit screaming. You're fine," another said. She cried hard, and looked insanely scared, but she stopped screaming and did what she was told. "Good girl," he said to her. Rob and I got into the front as the guys shut the back door.

*Scarlet's POV*

I didn't want to go. They were going to hurt me, I knew it. I shook horribly. The two guys got into the front seat and the older guy started the car before he turned to look at me.

"Hi Scarlet," he said soothingly. "I'm Robert, but you can call me Rob if you want to. That's Seth. He was adopted too." I just looked at him, not responding. "It's okay Scar. We aren't going to hurt you. You're safe," he said before turning back around and started driving.

The younger guy, Seth, turned on the radio. Stay Away From My Friends started playing.

"Seth turn it off for now," Robert said quietly. He turned it off. I quietly unbuckled and moved over to the seat in the middle. I reached to the front and quickly press the button to turn it back on. Then I moved back to my seat.

Robert chuckled, "do you like this?" He asked, looking in the rearview mirror. I nodded a little.

"Me too," Seth said quietly, looking back at me. I looked at him then quickly looked to the window. I quietly hummed along with the CD, and I heard Seth humming a little too.
