Kurt was walking to breakfast when he saw a poster on the wall.
It announced open auditions for the Warblers, as long as you auditioned with an Avril Lavigne song.
Kurt rolled his eyes and kept walking. Really? That's the best they have?
He sat down at his normal table, eating his breakfast, when he overheard a conversation.
"-maybe this was a bad idea, so many people have auditioned. It's a bit ridiculous."
"Do you want to find the person with the voice? This is the only way."
"I dunno, we could camp out in the auditorium and wait."
"That's a terrible idea."
Kurt finished his breakfast, getting up and heading to the auditorium.
He noticed that his folder of sheet music was still there; they must have left it.
He opened it up, looking through the sheet music. He had practiced them all, just in case.
Sitting down at the piano, he played out the notes of 'Welcome To The Black Parade.' He didn't sing, he just let the music flow through the room.
Eventually he heard people approaching as he finished the song. He smiled, knowing they were listening through the door. He didn't have the courage to bare his heart for all to see, so now he could sing to him anonymously.
He may or may not fancy a certain Warbler.
He cleared his throat, starting up the music. He altered the lyrics, hoping a certain someone got the message.
La la la, la la la la
I know your kind of guy
You only care about one thing
"Who you've seen, or where you've been?"
"Who's got money?"I see that look in your eyes
It tells a million lies
But deep inside, I know why
You're talking to himI know what you're all about
I really hope he figures it outHe's one of those guys
They're nothing but trouble
Just one look and now you're seeing double
Before you know it he'll be gone
Off to the next one
He's so good that you won't see it comin'
He'll take you for a ride, and you'll be left with nothing
You'll be broke, and he'll be gone
Off to the next oneOh, oh, oh
Off to the next one
Oh, oh, yeah, yeah, oh, ohHe's gonna be the end of you
At least that's what they say
It's been a while
You're in denial
And now it's too late
The way he looks makes you hide
All the warning signs
'Cause his blond hair, his blue eyes
Makes you wanna dieI know what he's all about
I really hope you figure it outHe's one of those guys
They're nothing but trouble
Just one look and now you're seeing double
Before you know it he'll be gone
Off to the next oneHe's so good that you won't see it comin'
He'll take you for a ride, and you'll be left with nothing
You'll be broke, and he'll be gone
Off to the next oneYou know it's a game, you know it's a game
He keeps playing around with your head
Playing around with your head
He's so insane, so insane
He's the one to blame, he's the one to blameHe's one of those guys
They're nothing but trouble
Just one look and now you're seeing double
Before you know it he'll be gone
Off to the next oneHe's so good that you won't see it comin'
He'll take you for a ride, and you'll be left with nothing
You'll be broke, and he'll be gone
Off to the next oneOh, oh, oh
Off to the next one
Oh, oh, yeah, yeah
Off to the next one"Get out." He added at the end, hoping he got his message. He quickly gathered his things and left, hearing them trying to open the door again.
