Chapter 6

Cameron's POV

The doctors came in earlier while Amara was sleeping and said that she can go home when she wakes up. Her pallets went up and she is a lot better.

I'm really stressing because Magcon is in 2 days. I have no idea if she can come. I highly doubt it because of this hospital visit but it's worth a try.

"Nash, what am I going to do?"

"Honestly Cam. I would just address it to her. Maybe she can go but if she can't don't be mad. Come with us. Stay for the 3 days. Then come straight back."

"Thanks man."

"Hey I gotta go. My brothers flying in for Magcon and I gotta pick him up. I'll meet you back at Amara's."

Nash got up and left. About 5 minutes later Amara started to stir.

"Good morning gorgeous." I said kissing her head.

"Good morning."

"You get to go home today! once we get home I have to to talk to you though."

"Okay...."

"It's nothing bad!"

Right on cue Mrs. Skye and a nurse walked in ready to discharge Amara. She signed the papers she needed to sign and with that she was being wheeled down the hall way in a wheelchair.

I sat in the back seat with her, holding my hand the whole way home. It was a good 45 minute drive back.

*skips drive home*

Amara's POV

It feels really good to be home. I missed it. Even though I never go out much and being the internet addicted self that I am, I really missed home.

Nash and Hayes showed up not even 10 minutes after I got home and boy was I whipped. I made my way up into my room with Cam close behind.

"Hey, can I talk to you before you take your nap?" He scratched the back of his neck.

"Of course!"

He took a deep breath.

"Well, Nash, Hayes and I got invited to this event called Magcon and it starts in 2 days. I really wanted you to go with me but your health went down hill and I don't think you really should go. I think you should stay here and get lots of rest." He looked so relieved after saying that.

"Cam, go have fun! you don't need to spend all your hours with me! You have a life too! The world doesn't revolve around me."

"Thanks, but you are my world. You mean everything to me."

I laid on my bed and looked up to the ceiling. 4 days with out a cuddle buddy, someone to keep me emotionally stable, a shoulder to cry on, a boyfriend, a best friend! While I was in deep thought I felt a pair of muscular arms wrap around me. I knew these arms all to well.

I rolled over and kissed his cheek.

"You missed." Cam smirked. I kissed him straight on the lips this time. Within seconds he was kissing back. This kiss was different. It wasn't a hot and steamy one. It was full of love and passion.

After our little moment, I crawled up and tucked my self into my covers. I wasn't tired but I was still very weak. I just needed to rest my body and get over this.

Cam gave me a kiss on the forehead and walked out of my room closing the door.

After a good 20 minutes of staring at my blank white ceiling, sleep finally took over my body.

Cameron's POV

I was talking to Nash and Hayes about magcon and room assignments. I would be rooming with Nash. I was really nervous about leaving Amara because of her health and I don't want something to happen to her and me not be there.

My thoughts were interrupted by screams. Those screams belonged to a girl I know so well. I literally jumped the couch. Running up the stairs to see Amara shaking in her bed with fear. She hasn't woke up yet. I crawl in next to her and cradle her in my arms and shake her awake.

"Babe. Listen to me. You have to wake up. It's okay. It's just a dream."

Her eyes shoot open and they're looking everywhere but into mine.

"Hey look at me. You're okay. I got you."

She finally looks into my eyes and wraps her arms around me and cries into my shoulder. I whispered sweet nothings into her ear trying to calm her down.

Nash and Hayes walked into her room and looked at her and then back at me. They were confused because she still hasn't told both of them that she has Leukemia. They just know that she's sick.

They joined us the hug and she eventually calmed down. She excused herself to the bathroom shortly after.

Hayes POV

Amara seems to break down a lot now. I know she's sick but no clue about with what. I hope she will get better so she can come to the next magcon.

We all know Cameron needs her and vice versa. Nash, Cam, Amara and I are currently watching a movie. Bridesmaids to be exact.

I didn't even get through half of the movie before sleep took over my body.
