Bea's POV:
Today is the last day of sixth grade and I can't wait to spend it with Toby! He doesn't know it but I have an enormous crush on him. I've liked him since the day I met him but I don't know if he feels the same way.
"Hey Bea." Toby says, sitting next to me.
"Hey Toby!" I say cheerfully.
"Someone's happy today." He jokes.
"Duh." I roll my eyes. "Today is the last day of school! Aren't you happy?"
"I guess, but I'll miss school."
"*Cough* NERD *Cough*" I giggle. "You're almost as bad as Caleb."
"Don't say that!" He says defensivly.
"Fine." I say and we go outside.
I sit in the corner of the playground with Toby and we talk about seventh grade.
"Toby... I like you." I blurt out.
"I like you too." He says and I blush.
I try to say something but no words come out.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" Toby asks me.
"I thought you'de never ask." I giggle.
Toby holds my hand and before I can react, he kisses me.
