Typical, depressing day in the "summer" holidays
"Sean! I have received an amazing email!" Mel squealed; staring at the laptop screen as if she was hypnotized.
"What?" Groaned Sean; reaching for a carton of juice in the fridge, he is not a morning person whatsoever.
"I have a request by the council saying that we should visit that house that resides by the river to write a review on it!" Mel squealed excitedly; she loves being asked to do these kinds of jobs and always seems to get this overwhelming feeling every time she does.
"You mean that dark and gloomy house that's down the road? Pff, so exciting." Sean said in a bitter and sarcastic way; he's one of those people that's not easily amused.
"Well, obviously because it's been neglected for so many years and has been flooded so many times due to the river overflowing and thus, causing mould and making the house reek." Defended Mel; offended.
"Why are you two arguing?" Interposed George; walking into the kitchen.
Mel and Sean fell silent; but continuously shot poisonous glares at one another.
"About time that we amuse ourselves for once; we are getting cabin fever in here!" George said in a melodramatic tone; throwing his arms in the air.
"Relax, George. This isn't some soap opera, you know." Mel said; sighing irritably.
“Ok, well, what are we doing today?” George asked calmly; putting his melodramatic entrance to an end.
“We are going to the silent house.” Replied Sean, looking glum
The whole house fell silent, George clearly was terrified, and he knows something bad about the house that George and Mel don’t know...
