His pov

I smiled, watching intently as the warlock began to plan. I stood in the shadows, unnoticed, or unrecognised, I didn't know. I smiled to myself, soon, was my only thought, soon all three of my children would be together. It was a shame that one of my children was lost, but, a sacrifice had to be made. The goal will be accomplished. I heard the punch before I felt it, then came the pain, between my shoulder blades, and collapsed to the floor.

I felt a combat boot on my back, holding me down a plenty of force, until I spoke. "get off me", I snapped. My attacker got off me quickly at the sound of my voice. I turned around and looked up, not bothering to get off the ground, when I met her eyes, she looked away guiltily, "Ah, sorry boss", my employee said, her nerves apparent in her tone, "I, ah, kinda have some trust issues- so when I saw you spying on me..."

"Yes, I understand", I said hastily, I really didn't want to stuff this up. I then got off the floor and dusted myself off, "next time", I said looking her straight in the eyes, "look before you act- it might just be your boss that you are attacking". She blushed, and retreated to her room, embarrassed by what she had done. I turned to her henchman, "Get your boss something to drink", I said sharply, all kindness draining from my tone. I sighed, getting my children back would not be easy, but it had to be done. I loved them, nothing more needed to be said. If needed, I would keep them prisoner until they loved me, until all of them loved me.

A/N- hey guys- yes it is the socially awkward author- I need a favour. I am running out of ideas for this book, and unless I get one, I am discontinuing this book. Please vote and comment
