I wake up to see a wooden table on my side, pressuring my cheek. I sit up, sleepily, while realizing where I was. I was in my room and Fortnite was open. I sighed, tiredly, and closed my laptop. I went to go wash my face, but I saw big black bags under my eyes. I decided to put eye drops and just went back into my room to go change into my school uniform. The uniform is freshly washed and ready to go. I put the buttoned up shirt first, plaid brown cardigan, jacket, then pants. I go to get my socks from my closet when I see something weird in my room. It was a drawing. A drawing of...!

I walk to school scared of the thing I saw in the small paper. This couldn't happen... right? How? Why her? Is this some joke? I hope it is. I quickly thought through my head. I turn around and see Mai, running up to me as she tidies her hair up with a comb she put in her bag, just in case. She fixed her shoes, as well. I sighed, disappointed but happy that she came today, as she panted, heavily. "Haaah, S-sorry, Zach, Haaaah," Mai breathed out. "It's okay, Mai," I replied calmly. "Sorry, that I keep ending up late..." "Mai, it's okay. Stop apologizing." "S-sorry...? That I keep apologizing." I just walk ahead, as she speed walks to me. We walk to school and bump into Luna on the way. She's doing something, but I'm too busy focusing on Mai's rambling that I don't know what. "Hey Luna," I say. She then turns around in a frantic way as if she's hiding the thing that she's doing. "H-Hey guys!" she screams back in panic. "Luna, what's going on? What are you doing?" Mai asks. "N-Nothing! Why?" she says back. "Just curious," the petite girl said. "Okay, then let's walk to school, shall we?" Luna says happily, to change the subject. We then follow Luna as she walks ahead of us while talking about something, in a relived way. School was just around the corner when Luna turned around to face us and said, "Okay! Everyone, we have an important club meeting after school, so don't be late and I'll text everyone in the discord about it!" Luna happily says with a smile. As we go our separate ways to school, I say goodbye to Mai and head to my homeroom.

It's around 3:12 and I start making my way to the club room, trying to speed walk. I see Mai on the way and we both rush. "C'mon, Zach!" Mai exclaims, as I fall behind, out of breath. After a few seconds, we reach the room and we both take our jackets off, to feel some air. Everyone there looks at us in questionable looks and just continue what they were doing afterwards. "May I get everyone's attention? Finish up your round or farming and come to the front of the classroom please! Sit down where ever," Luna says in a happy tone. Everyone obeys after a few minutes of a rush round of whatever they were playing and quit the game. "Okay! So we will be starting off with some activities of working together! Form a team of two with a person you haven't really talked to yet and follow me to the back of the classroom once your done. Lock arms with them so I know who's your partner. Are there any questions?" No one raised their hand. "Well, I'll be in the back of the classroom. Go find your partners. Good Luck!" We all looked at each other and one by one, we all got up. I looked around and thought of who I haven't bonded with yet. I decide either Shadow or Vampire. I pick Vampire since Shadow's already with Mai. We each head to the back of the room, me with Vampire, Mai with Shadow, Frown with Panda, and Memey with Blaede. "Alright, now! Everyone, may you please grab a computer and sit together? I'll put up the link to a website I would like you all to join," Luna said loud enough to get out attention as she wrote on the board a link. I typed it in and looked at Vampire in a curious look to ask what we were gonna do. The page loaded up and what laid in it was a game called "Fire Boy and Water Girl." Jesus Christ, I remember playing this game with my friends back in elementary school. Why would Luna want us to play such a foolish child game? "As you may know, this game is filled with strategy and teamwork. But of you decide who's fire boy and who's water girl. Good luck!" the prestigious girl exclaimed. I looked back at Vampire and expected her to go Water girl. Instead, she went Fire Boy. "Go ahead, Zach. Let's play," she simply said. I clicked the "Start" button and we played to tutorial, quickly. We already had good communication, though I kept telling her what do to. She seemed really calm and collected. I envied that of her. After about 10-20 minutes of playing, we all heard Luna say, "Great job today everyone! Unfortunately, some other club will be using this room now for reasons and we must get going. That's the end of the club meeting today! See you all next time," she said, glancing a death glare at Vampire for a second when she finished her sentences. Vampire didn't see and began packing her bags. We all got out of the room and began walking home. As Mai and I walked home, I quickly saw Luna telling Vampire something in an alley. I just ignored it, thinking that Luna was telling something to Vampire about the club. When me and Mai got home, she went to my house for a bit to hang out. She was watching me play some Fortnite, even though I'm no good at the game. "What are you talking about? You won more games than I'll ever win!" she keeps saying when I say I'm not good. "It's because you don't play often. You would beat me in a 1v1 probably if you played more," I said. "That is so not true. I can't even do a simple glitch though the floor without freaking out and failing!" she laughed. Suddenly, I felt a very unsettling feeling, like I was being watched, but not from Mai. It felt like it was outside. "Zach? Hello? Are you okay? You've been spacing out for five minutes!" Mai kept shouting in my ear. "Huh? Y-yeah! I'm fine," I said, lying. "Alright then, well it's getting late and I should get home soon, don't stay up too late!" "Bye, Mai," I said as she went out of the front door. The unsettling feeling stopped as Mai left. It was very weird. Suddenly, I remembered the picture I saw earlier today. I felt a slight shiver going up on my spine as I recalled it. I quickly went to sleep, playing my Running in the 90s blasted. "Today was a weird day... Luna has been acting weird all day with everyone..." I murmured to myself as I drifted off to sleep.
