High school is exactly like I imagined, sitting in the back corner, listening to stuff I already know. Our home room teacher is this woman, probably just graduated, she had this perfect model body and long white hair tied up into a ponytail, with little baby hairs tucked behind her ear. Her name is Allura, she's one of those laid back, chill teachers, which I love. She insists on us calling her Allura, instead of Mr. Allura, she says it makes her feel old.
She's explaining the rules, the same rules I hear every year. Don't get me wrong, it's not like she boring, it's just, I've probably already memorised it by how many times I've heard it. She seems bored of it too.
Our tables are single tables, each about two tiles apart. Keith is right next to me, his chin in his palm. I don't think he's listening either, I'm sure it's the same at every school. Allura wraps up her speech, pushing her glasses up her nose, "And lastly, no public displays of affection on campus." She says with a chuckle.
No lie, I'm kinda offended by that chuckle. I know I'm single. Even though that's probably not what she meant. She lets us have the rest of the day without any lessons, since we only just got our schedules today. Me and Keith wonder to the library.
I push my hand on the metal handle, feeling the air conditioner from the library breeze onto my face. We walk to the back of the library, sitting down on a table at the corner. That class was basically an hour, not really that interesting. Keith picks up a book, without even looking, from the shelf. I ignore the books, the books here are kinda lame.
We sit onto the chairs, I lay my head down and Keith opens his book. "What book did you take?" I ask "I don't know, I just picked one from the shelf. Uhh" He says, leaving his fingers between the pages as he looks at the cover "Uhh Warrior Cats. Ah damn, I already read this." He stands up and puts his book back into the shelf he found it in. I'm having a hard time dissevering if he's being sarcastic or not. Knowing Keith, he probably did read Warrior Cats.
I chuckle, imagining Keith in his old schools library with his nose dug on the sixth Warrior Cats book, surrounded by the other five books. Keith comes back, sitting across the circle table from me. He pulls out his phone and just uses it. Bet he's reading fan fiction. Like an x reader one. Man, that takes me back. Me finding a Harry Styles x male reader on his phone, then confronting him. He then came out, fun times.
"What're you laughing about?" Keith asks, moving next to me. He puts his arm around my waist and leans his head into my shoulder "Remember when you came out to me?" I chuckle. He sits up, face flushed with red "You promised not to bring up Harry Styles," he whined. He leans his head back onto my shoulder and I get a view on his phone.
Yup, it's fan fiction. "I'm Alexandra Barbera Anchesca Brook. I groaned getting up, out of my bed. Life was hard as a sixteen year old with three crushes. My parents died and abandoned me before I was born. I used all the power in my lanky legs to get up and trudge to the mirror. I glanced in my reflection, seeing my amber eyes shine in the summer morning light, glistening in curiosity. I pull my hair up into a messy bun, and make my way to my favourite vintage coffee shop; Starbucks." I read off his phone in a, not so subtle, British accent.
We chuckle together silently and read it . "Yo Kate," I hear as Lance and Hunk sit across from us. "Yo, what took you so long?" I ask "Our new homeroom teacher treats us like delinquents. He thinks anyone that gets less than perfect grades, are stupid." Lance sighs, leaning back into his chair. "I wouldn't say it like that, I'm sure he's just looking out for us." Hunk smiles. "Hunk, he made us write an essay about our future plans." Lance groans.
Me and Keith chuckle, we know exactly who he's talking about. "Are you, by any chance, talking about Mr. Shirogane?" I chuckle. They both frantically nod, Keith continues chuckling "Dude, that's my older brother,". Lance furrows his eyebrows, Hunk is chuckling along. "You two don't look alike. Your last names are also different." Lance mutters "Well, step brother. His family adopted me, that's how I how Kate." Keith smiles.

"What? Why would I do that?" Keith questions, Pidge sighs "JUST DO IT," Pidge screams, sending shivers down Keith's spine. "Uhh, please vote, if you want. But, uhh, if you don't, I might actually get hit with a baseball bat," Keith shudders.
"Also, the author is sorry for the short chapter. They're having some stupid exams and wants to post a chapter before being are overwhelmed with work." Lance says, wrapping his arm around Keith's neck [because I still have Klance in my heart *cough cough*].
"Hope you enjoyed it!" Pidge screams, before jumping on top of Lance and Keith. "And stop being gay, you two." She chuckles.
