it had been a day since shiro had died and yukio had come back to the house. i was still asleep but woke up as the sun hit my face. it was bright out already and i slowly opened my eyes. i was faced with the demon boy inches from my face. i blushed and shoved him out of the bed, noticing that i was in HIS bed instead of mine, which is right above his. he woke up and rubbed the back of his head, yawning.
"ow. (y/n) what was that about?" he noticed i was blushing and realized i was in his bed. he chuckled. "ya know if you wanted to sleep in my bed all you had to do was ask." he laughed and got up, stretching and yawning again. as he yawned i studied his fangs. after he closed his mouth i realized i had nothing to really be scared about. he looked completely like he always had except now he had those little differences but those made me feel happy inside. i smiled to myself before yawning and stretching too, climbing out of the bed. we walked outside after getting dressed and went to find yukio.
"hey guys. where's yukio?" rin asked one of the other exorcists.
"he's outside i believe. i don't know why though." we walked outside to look for him, finding him at shiro's grave. i let rin and yukio have their conversation, following them to the gate entrances. we saw a car pulling up to the gates. our attention was turned to maphisto as he stepped out of the car. he explained to all of us how we were going to go to true cross academy and told us to get in the car. it was kind of cramped but we lasted the car trip that took hours. i fell asleep during the car ride. i woke up with my head on rin. i looked up at him and he looked down at me and smiled. i felt myself blush and smile back. yukio had already climbed out of the car and me and rin followed.
"now. you all will go to your regular classes. off you go." me and rin looked at each other and he shrugged. maphisto was walking inside true cross academy. i sighed and started walking inside the huge academy. it wasn't until about the middle of the day when rin found me outside, on the walk way that's around the academy. rin stood next to me, his elbows on the edge. i fell back, startled, at the dog that was on the railing.
"hey guys."
"the dog talks?!"
"yes, i do" the dog turned into maphisto and i was still on the ground. i grumbled and got up.
"you don't have to scare me like that!!" i stared angrily at him.
"i'm sorry. but since HE is... the spawn of satan. he will be taking SPECIAL classes. you can't go around spouting blue flames everywhere now can you?" he looked at rin then at me. "and YOU. you will be taking these classes too. we don't need another demon spouting flames everywhere either."
i was shocked. "b-but.... i'm not a demon...."
"oh wouldn't you like to know? you are the daughter of my brother, amaimon."
"who is that?" i clenched my teeth. i didn't know who amaimon was or even knew about me. i stood like that before being shooed away with rin by maphisto.
"and you will be taking these special classes after school."
i knew i was different but.... i didn't know that i was THAT different.
