I'm here again.

Walking in a seemingly endless pit of fire, crimson-coloured tides licking the edge of my placid face. I spun around multiple times, looking for any signs of life.

Stars glimmered angrily overhead, almost as if they were accusing me of something I didn't do. I noticed that the sky was glowing eerily, a variety of colours splashed around like a blind man's mural painting. Sloshes of red, black, blue, purple, indigo, and pink, all ranging in differing hues gathered amongst the skies, as if the entire galaxy settled on top of me.

Twelve soot-covered pillars stood tall and mighty atop a cracked marble podium, just a few steps ahead of me. Two of those pillars broke in half, and I winced. I still couldn't feel anything.

I needed to go back. I needed to wake up.

Slapping myself, I realized that I cannot go back anymore. My head continuously throbbed in pain, and I held my head in my hands. The comforted feeling I had hours earlier was gone, and it was replaced by a pang of stupidity from the side, and guilt settled in the center.

As I approached the podium, I noticed the cracks on each of them... And the holes in the center, the size of a golf ball—looked as if something was carved into the pillar and then someone else carved it out.
