She consoles, "It's just one year."
She says, "Please stay strong."
She says she knows that I'll survive,
But I don't know why,
I feel myself falling down,
I see myself failing her.
She just wants me to be,
Who I'm with others, you know,
The girl that covers up with crinkled eyes, the girl that smile.
But she don't like when I play pretend.
If I'll be myself I'll break,
And that - she don't understand.
You see hope, I feel it.
You see light somewhere in me.
Just stay with me a bit longer,
I'll try and walk a little further,
Just be around,
So I can be safe and sound.
