A knock on the door awakens Clawdeen from her peaceful sleep as she lies in her infirmary bed. Yawning, she stretches and brushes her fringe out the way of her right eye, revealing her Sirian scales. Her ears twitch a little and her tail uncurls from its current position (wrapped around her waist if you must know).

"Come in!" Clawdeen calls out, pressing the button by the side of her bed so the door unlocks. The door open and through comes Jack, one hand behind his back.

"Hi Clawdeen. I didn't disturb you, did I?"

"No I just woke up then you knocked so your all good." Clawdeen smiles at him, flashing her cute fangs. Jack smiles back, and sits down beside her bed. She throws the duvet off her and sits beside him. As he sits down, he reveals a small bouquet of beautiful flowers. With a squeal, she takes the variety of flowers and put them in a vase, grinning.

"Second time in the infirmary within the span of 1-3 days: nice work there!" he chuckles and she pouts in a cute manner. She looks adorable, and he can't help but notice that. "Are you feeling okay?"

Clawdeen nods, brushing hair out the way again. "Hurts like hell, but I feel better than yesterday. T-Thanks for coming and helping me get free." She stammers a little, blushing pink slightly.

Jack places his hand over hers. "Hey, no problem. SPD looks out to each other, you needed help and we helped you."

Clawdeen grins, her eyes sparkling. Her cheeks go slightly pink as she gazes at him in an almost dreamy manner. Jack smiles at her, and she grins back shyly. Her ears are poking out of her messy brown hair and her tail flicks his arm now and then. She looks so cute, and kind of attractive too. It's weird to think that already she feels like a little sister, when she'd only been with them for not much time at all.

"Is something wrong Jack?"

"Hm?" Clawdeen's voice snaps him back into reality and he looks at her. She laughs and grins cheekily, flicking some hair out her eyes yet again.

"You were staring off into space. You feeling okay dude?" When he nods, she rolls her eyes. "Well you don't seem okay. Do you have a fever?" Jack shakes his head. "So why are you just in a daze? Are you SURE you're feeling okay??"

Jack gulps and nods, trying to remain tough-looking. "I'm fine, I promise." He gives her a small smile, to which she smiles back. "Ahem, I gotta go now. I'm in charge of taking care of the D-Squad today."

"You'll be back to visit me, right? I've been kinda lonely here."

Jack stands up and dusts himself down. "I'll come back, I promise." With that, he turns on his heel and leaves the room, letting Clawdeen soak in what she felt was a painful friendzone.

~2 hours later~

"Checkmate! I win again!" a loud cheer and an annoyed groan is heard as the triumphant Clawdeen practically jumps up from the bed. "I'm too good at this!"

"Understatement of the Century; and I thought I was good at kicking everyone's asses at Chess," chuckles Sky as he puts away the board and pieces.

"Sky?"

"Hm? What's up Clawdeen?"

Clawdeen twiddles some hair shyly, blushing pink again. "You know the team well, don't you?"

"Yea, why do you ask that?"

"D-Do you... Do you think J-Jack likes me? As in, like LIKES me?"

Sky pauses to think at that question, pulling on his jacket and standing up. "I'm not sure. He did seem to take a fancy to you when you first met him. But Jack works in ways I have never understood, and still don't understand. So really, I don't know entirely."

Clawdeen nods, sighing a little as her heart sinks. "Okay. Thanks."

Sky tilts his head and gives her a wise look. "Why do you ask that? Do you like him?" When Clawdeen nods a little, Sky can't help but smile. "Well if you do get together, please try to tame him a little."

The hybrid just laughs and grins at the blue ranger. "I highly doubt that! I'm a wild animal, I can't tame anyone and they can't take me!" Sky chuckles and ruffles her hair playfully, and she purrs.

"You're gonna go far, kid. I can tell." With a smile , he turns and leaves the room , letting Clawdeen lie back in her bed and relax. She's had a ton to think about, and as she rests in her bed, she can't help but pray that Jack has feelings for her. But yet.... Something about Sky was making her hope he liked her as well.
