It had only been about a day since I ran into Jack and I wanted to text or call him but I was too nervous to text or contact him first. My phone vibrates and I see I have a message. It reads "Hey it's Jack, but you can call me Sean since that's my real name, It was nice running into you the other day." I get excited at the fact that he texted me. I quickly respond "It was also nice running into you as well, maybe we can be friends?" I suggest. I feel stupid about the last sentence but he's already seen it. I can't go back now. "I was just about to ask that! Sure, let's be friends (:" I internally scream but respond calmly- "Sounds great! Let's maybe go grab coffee, my treat." I offer. "Alright but next time it's on me" he says. So there will be a next time... I'm excited.
